Getting kids to do chores shouldn't feel like a second job. Chorezilla turns household responsibilities into something kids actually look forward to. With rewards, zilla, and just enough chaos to make it fun. BUILT FOR KIDS AGES 4–16 Not all kids are the same, and Chorezilla knows it. Tasks are designed to match your child's age and ability, so a 5-year-old isn't staring at a to-do list built for a teenager. As they grow, Chorezilla grows with them. REWARDS THEY ACTUALLY WANT Kids earn points for completing chores, which they can redeem for rewards you set. Screen time, a movie night, a trip to the ice cream shop, you decide what motivates your crew. No more bribing. No more begging. PARENTS STAY IN CONTROL Assign tasks, set due dates, approve completions, and track progress all from one place. Chorezilla gives you the oversight without the micromanaging. You set the rules. The kids do the work. GAMIFIED AND ACTUALLY FUN Chorezilla makes chores feel less like chores. Kids stay engaged through a fun experience that rewards effort and consistency, so the habit actually sticks. Download Chorezilla and let the monsters handle the mess. Little chores. Big motivation. ChorePoints helps families build routines, celebrate effort and keep everyday life organized. Kids know what to do next, parents review completed work, and points turn progress into rewards the family chooses. CHORES KIDS CAN FOLLOW Create chores with clear instructions, schedules and point values. Start with a template or make your own. Assign work to one child, several children, or rotate responsibilities across the week. Use parent approval, photo proof or optional AI photo checks. REWARDS THAT FEEL WORTH IT Let kids save toward movie night, choosing dinner, a family outing or another reward you create. Personal goals and shared reward goals help everyone see their progress. Local child profiles make it easy to share a device, with PINs for profile switching. FAMILY HUB Keep the practical side of family life together: - Shared lists: groceries organized by category, packing lists and everyday to-dos. Add multiple items, scan barcodes and reuse favorites. - Family calendar: shared plans, events and personal phone reminders. - Recipes: create your own cookbook or import recipes from photos, text and recipe websites. Review AI drafts before saving, choose ingredients for a grocery list and print a kitchen-friendly copy. - Household inventory: keep photos, item details, documents and notes in one searchable place. Optional AI helps prepare item details from photos. - Scheduled tasks: recurring maintenance and family reminders, with completion history and optional links to inventory items. Parents manage feature access for each profile. Chores remains the starting experience. Manage Family Hub and other features in Settings > Enable/disable features. AI features are optional and controlled by one account setting. Selected content is sent to OpenAI only with permission. Imports create editable drafts for your review. Source availability can affect recipe imports. Subscription details: ChorePoints offers monthly and yearly family plans with a 14-day free trial for eligible subscribers. Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Chorezilla at 5.0 against Chore Points's 4.2. Chorezilla also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%). Chore Points's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
