Shabbat Checklist helps observant Jewish families prepare for Shabbat and the holidays — calmly, together, and on time. PREPARE WITH CONFIDENCE One glance shows what matters most: your candle-lighting countdown front and center on Friday, days left, and how much prep time remains — one calm reminder at a time, never a wall of alerts. A guided Erev Shabbat checklist covers cleaning, cooking, groceries, guests and more, with accurate location-based candle lighting and Havdalah times. SHARE THE LOAD WITH YOUR FAMILY Invite your family with a code or link. Assign tasks and get a gentle notification the moment someone finishes theirs. A Friday-morning digest — "Candles at 7:42, 5 tasks left" — keeps everyone on track. Every notification stays silent from candle lighting until Havdalah. COOK AND SHOP WITH EASE Get Shabbat menu ideas midweek, built from your recipes and past meals — one tap fills your meal plan and adds the scaled, merged ingredients to your grocery list. Built-in challah and Shabbat recipes scale to your guest count, with step-by-step instructions. A smart grocery list with categories, quick-add buttons for Shabbat staples, and two-way sync with Apple Reminders. Track candles by type — tea lights, tapers, oil and wicks — and Kiddush wine and grape juice, so you never run short. HOLIDAYS, COVERED Full Yom Tov calendar support — Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Shmini Atzeret, Pesach and Shavuot. Knows Diaspora vs. Israel observance and adjusts day counts and Yizkor accordingly. Shows the weekly parsha, the Omer count, and minor holidays like Chanukah, Purim and Tisha B'Av. YOURS, IN YOUR LANGUAGE Fully localized in 40+ languages — including Hebrew and Arabic with full right-to-left support. Reminders and calendar integration keep your Shabbat prep on schedule. Turn the weekly race against sundown into a calm, shared routine — and welcome Shabbat the way it is meant to be.

Kosher Switch turns your iPhone into a kosher phone with one tap, and back again with a code. Works on iPhone and iPod touch with iOS 15 or newer. On iOS 15 (iPod touch), Apple allows it only on a child's device in Family Sharing. FOR PARENTS AND FOR YOURSELF Set up your child's iPhone with Family Sharing, or use it on your own phone and let someone you trust (a spouse, parent or rav) choose the code. In kosher mode, only the person with the code can switch the phone back. ONLY THE APPS YOU CHOOSE Choose the apps you keep, like Phone, Messages, WhatsApp, Camera and Maps. Up to 50 apps disappear from the Home Screen, and every other app shows the kosher screen instead of opening. Installing apps is blocked in kosher mode, and Kosher Switch can't be deleted. NO BROWSER. OUR ADVICE. We believe a kosher phone shouldn't have a web browser at all, not even a filtered one. So websites start fully blocked, Safari included. If you really need it, the kosher filter keeps Safari clean: adult sites and image search are blocked, Kosher Pictures covers pictures of people, and pages and searches with unsuitable words don't open. Other browsers get no internet in kosher mode. The choice is yours. A CALM KOSHER HOME SCREEN Kosher Home Screen widgets show a big clock, the Hebrew date and your apps as a calm list, like a minimalist phone. The כשר button in Control Center switches modes, and a Kosher Focus gives the phone its own wallpaper. EVERYTHING INCLUDED • Siddur and Tehillim (Ashkenaz, Sefard and Edot HaMizrach), with the daily and weekly Tehillim and chapter-by-chapter reading. • A compass to Jerusalem: from your exact location to the Temple Mount, with a built-in level and gentle haptics when you face it. • A tefillin mirror: the front camera checks that your shel rosh sits in the middle and on the hair, not the forehead. Nothing is recorded. • A luach with zmanim for where you are, what you can still pray now and how long is left, and optional reminders. • Notes with drawing, and an assistant powered by Apple Intelligence that calls, texts, sets alarms and remembers who's who. • English or Hebrew, with prayer names in Hebrew. PLANS Kosher mode needs a Personal or Family subscription, monthly or yearly. Personal monthly starts with a 2-week free trial for new subscribers. Family is shared with up to 5 family members through Family Sharing. Turning kosher mode off never needs a plan. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period; manage them in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ PRIVATE No account, no ads and no tracking. Kosher Switch uses Apple's Screen Time on your iPhone; nothing you do is sent to us.
