Just a quick look. And then it's half an hour again. That's not a character flaw. The apps are built that way. Nurkurz adds the moment you're missing: before the app you get stuck in opens, you land on a block screen, read one sentence – and if you really want in, you wait a moment first. Not as punishment. As a pause to think. THIS SIMPLE – Choose your apps once. Done in a minute. – One tap: 15 minutes, 25, an hour. Your apps stay blocked until the time is up. – Or set a schedule once, for example every evening from 10 pm. Then your apps block themselves. THE BLOCK THAT ASKS If you open a blocked app anyway, you only see a question and a quote, a different one every time. Then you decide: go back or take a quick peek. WAIT A MOMENT If you really want in, you first say why – with a reason from the list or your own. Your why reminds you what you actually want the time for. Then a ring fills up. 15 seconds the first time, then 30, at most 45. With a schedule it starts at 15 again after an hour without a break. Often you notice in those seconds that you didn't really want to. BLOCKED ON ITS OWN Schedules block at fixed times every day. Tap a template, save, done: sleep, school & work, study, phone-free evening or weekend. With Pro also by place: arrive at school, work or the library and your apps block. Your location stays on your iPhone. A schedule can't be switched off with one tap: wait first, then decide. STRICT, IF YOU DON'T TRUST YOURSELF In strict mode there's no quick peek, the block screen only says β€œBack”. Turn it on for a session or a schedule. Then there are only two emergency passes, and only inside Nurkurz. One more every three weeks. You can't buy them. NO REELS (PRO) Feed, stories and messages – without Reels or Explore. Right inside Nurkurz, no waiting. If a strict block is on, this stays locked too. Works with instagram.com. Not affiliated with Instagram or Meta. WHAT CHANGES – Phone time: the last 7 days compared with the week before. iOS counts it, Nurkurz can't see the numbers. – Streak: every day with a session or 15 minutes of schedule counts. – Your week: a short message every Sunday. Home Screen widget. HONEST We don't lock anything away forever. Every block can be removed in iPhone Settings. We tell you because it's true – and because it's not the point. The point is the moment before. PRIVATE No account. No server. No tracking. Not even we can see which apps you block – iOS only gives us encrypted placeholders. Everything stays on your iPhone. β€œNo Reels” loads instagram.com directly from Meta, and their privacy policy applies there. Nurkurz doesn't read any of it. SUBSCRIPTION Nurkurz runs on a subscription: try it free for 7 days, then a monthly or yearly subscription at the price shown in the App Store. Cancel anytime in iPhone Settings. If you set up Nurkurz before version 1.3.1, you keep the free version. Nurkurz uses Apple's Screen Time API. On first launch iOS asks for permission.
