Film and TV reviews — spoken, not typed. Magic Lightbox is where you say what you thought out loud. Pick any film or series, hold the mic, and record your take. No star ratings to agonise over, no paragraphs to write — just your voice, your reaction, in your own time. LISTEN FIRST Browse thousands of films and shows and hear what real people actually said. Every title has its reviews attached, ready to play. You don't need an account to listen — just open it and press play. RECORD YOUR TAKE Sign in and hold the mic to record. Pause and pick it up again, undo a clip you fluffed, hear it back before you post. Take as long as you need — there's no time limit on a review. AGREE OR CHALLENGE Heard something you disagree with? Reply directly to it. Every reply is marked as agreeing or challenging, so a title's reviews become a real conversation instead of a list of opinions shouted past each other. ENTER THE DEBATE When a thread gets going, it becomes a debate: a group chat around the original review where anyone can weigh in with a voice note or a message, react with an emoji, and follow along live. MINUTES SPOKEN, NOT FOLLOWERS There's no follower count here. The only number that grows is the time you've spent actually talking about films. KEEP TRACK Build watch lists — watched, want to watch, rewatch, favourites, or your own — and put your six favourite films and shows on your prof BUILT TO BE CIVIL Every review, message, and account can be reported, and you can block anyone you'd rather not hear from. Reports are reviewed within breaking our rules is removed. Film and TV data from TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MagicLightbox at none against TV Series Track's 1. MagicLightbox also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). TV Series Track's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TV Series Track sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. MagicLightbox asks for nothing beyond the download.
MagicLightbox holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TV Series Track has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
