VU Meter Pro is a professional audio metering app for broadcast, streaming, and live sound. It combines an analog VU meter with a loudness meter, phase meter, LED bar meter, and waveform display. Arrange the meters you need on screen to match each on-site workflow. Connect any USB class-compliant device (audio interface, mixer, recorder, or the audio output of a camera or switcher) with a single USB cable and start measuring right away. Use it as a portable meter in the field, or as a fixed tool in the studio. Works on both iPhone and iPad. What it measures · Audio level (analog VU meter / LED bar) · Loudness (Momentary / Short-term / Integrated / True Peak / LRA) · Loudness history (graph display, up to 24 hours) · Waveform (Waveform Scope, up to 30-minute history, pinch-to-zoom) · Phase (Lissajous + correlation meter) Standards-based measurement Loudness measurement follows ITU-R BS.1770 and conforms to EBU R128 / EBU Mode (Tech 3341 and 3342) and ARIB TR-B32, at 48 and 96 kHz. Measurements are verified against reference signals. ITU-R BS.1770 is the measurement standard widely adopted by national broadcast loudness practices such as ATSC A/85 (US) and OP-59 (Australia), which target −24 LKFS. Loudness presets set the target and the True Peak limit in one tap: ARIB TR-B32, EBU R128, ATSC A/85 and OP-59 for broadcast, plus Spotify, YouTube and Apple Podcasts for streaming. Built for the field · Responsive, real-time metering · Standard and wide-range VU scales (−20 to +3 / −40 to +10) · Seven meter themes for different lighting conditions and preferences · LED bar colors: four presets, or set your own three zone colors · Peak Indicator with an adjustable True Peak threshold, so you can tell at a glance whether a peak occurred · Input Trim (±5 dB) for level calibration · Peak-hold readouts for easy reading at a glance Launch and measure. No setup required. This app is built and maintained by a working engineer in radio, audio, and video production, for use in the field. Visibility and operational reliability are the top priorities. Use with an external audio interface. The built-in microphone is not suitable for accurate measurement.

About

BEAN VOICE

Features

BEAN VOICE shows you what your voice is actually doing. Open a recording and it draws the pitch line over time, so you can see where you went flat, where you wobbled, and where the note settled. It marks which register you were in rather than guessing from loudness alone. It also reads how open your mouth was, how much air was in the tone, and where the energy sat in the sound. The Range view shows how long and how loud you held each semitone, and Tension by pitch shows whether your throat tightens as you go higher. None of that is a score out of ten. It is a picture of the take, so you can compare today with last week. Works with anything you have recorded, including the sound from a video. Live analysis draws the pitch of what you are singing right now; when you stop, play back what you just sang while the graph follows, and save it or send it to the full analysis view. The sound stays on this device and is never sent anywhere. Register, Formants and Spectrogram views are available in live analysis too. The Spectrogram draws louder sound brighter on a dark background, and you can change its colours and contrast. The same sound looks the same at any recording level. In the Spectrogram view you can also split the sound by harmonic number and listen to just those. Tap a number below the graph, or a harmonic line on the graph. It works on recordings you open and on what you just sang in live analysis. Ear Training sharpens your ear: intervals, chords, melody dictation, scales and modes, and rhythm dictation, plus sight-singing where you sing from a score and each note is scored for pitch and timing. Your practice records stay on this device. About the license The app works without a license: opening a recording, all six views, the measured values, playback, and live analysis with the Pitch view and playback of what you just sang are all free. A license removes the ad shown when you open the app, and turns on the AI analysis, the Register, Formants and Spectrogram views in live analysis, hearing harmonics in the Spectrogram, and Ear Training. BEAN VOICE 1 month license — KRW 12,000 per month, auto-renewing It renews at the same price unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can turn it off any time in Settings > your Apple Account > Subscriptions. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://beanent.com/privacy On-device records Measurements and your conversations with the coach stay on this device. See, select and delete them in Settings > Memory, and choose how much of it the coach remembers. Audio is never sent anywhere.
