Track Tailor automatically builds and updates Apple Music playlists based on rules you define โ€” so your music is always exactly where you want it. Set up a playlist once and the app keeps it fresh: by genre, artist, release year, or a rolling window like "the last 30 days." Syncs run in the background, even when your screen is locked. What you can do: - Filter by genre, artist, date range, or title keywords - Include and exclude rules โ€” get what you want, skip what you don't - Choose All Time, a specific year, or a rolling window (7, 30, or 90 days) - Cap total tracks or per-artist track counts - Shuffle for discovery, or sort chronologically - Run multiple independent playlists, each with its own rules - iCloud sync โ€” configure once, works across all your devices - Background sync with completion notifications Tip: for large artist lists, keeping the app open with the screen active gives the most reliable sync โ€” battery optimization can end long background runs early. About genre search: Genre search uses a built-in curated list of ~70 genres with hand-picked artists โ€” works offline, no account needed. For genres not in the list, the app falls back to MusicBrainz, a free community music database. Niche, regional, or very new genres may not always be found. Richer sources like Spotify, Last.fm, and Discogs may be added in a future update. What you cannot do: - Manage or edit playlists not created by this app - Search by title โ€” search is currently artist-based One developer. One app. Track Tailor is a solo indie project built by one person (with Claude AI along for the ride). Your feedback has a direct impact: - Missing a genre or artist in the built-in list? Let me know โ€” it gets updated from user input. - Have a feature idea? Send it in. If it fits and enough people want it, it'll get built. Remove ads: The free version includes a small banner ad. A subscription removes it and directly supports development and API costs. Monthly and yearly options available. Requirements: Apple Music subscription required. iCloud account required for cross-device sync. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Playlist Forge is where you build playlists on Apple Music and share them with a community that actually listens. Lean toward the hits or dig for deep cuts, set the length and a release-year range, preview every track, then save it straight to your Apple Music library. BUILD Start from any artist. Choose "just this artist" or "artist + similar," pick Hits or Deep cuts, set the length and years, preview the songs, and save to your library in a tap. DISCOVER Browse playlists made by real people, add any of them to your library instantly, and follow the curators whose taste you trust. Likes, adds, and comments help the good stuff rise, and you can search across every playlist and person. MAKE IT TOGETHER Start a community playlist and let others add songs. Turn on song voting so the crowd thumbs each track up or down for fit. CHALLENGES Host your own themed challenge or enter someone else's, then let the community vote for a winner. Several can run at once, so there's always something to jump into. BOOST Give a playlist you're proud of a spotlight โ€” pin it to the top of Discover for a day so everyone finds it.
