About

FractionSolver

Features

FractionSolver is a focused fraction calculator that shows the full, step-by-step working behind every answer — not just the result. Point your camera at a printed or handwritten fraction equation to scan and solve it instantly, or enter it with the structured math keypad. FractionSolver converts mixed numbers, finds the least common denominator, combines terms, and reduces the result, then renders each step in proper math notation with bar, circle, and number-line visuals. Five tools in one app: ① Operations — add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions and mixed numbers, with parentheses for grouping. ② Simplify — reduce any fraction using the greatest common divisor. ③ Compare — order two fractions over a shared denominator. ④ Decimal — convert a fraction to its exact decimal (repeating digits shown in parentheses). ⑤ Percentage — convert a fraction to a percent with the working shown. Designed for students, parents, and teachers: ① Scan with the camera — on-device OCR, no internet, no accounts. ② Local, deterministic, offline rules — no AI, no ads. ③ Bilingual: English and 简体中文. ④ Light and Dark appearance. ⑤ Choose US/EU classroom style or compact exam-style working. The free app includes every solver. Premium unlocks camera equation scanning, your solution history, and image export of the worked solution — choose a Monthly or Yearly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase.
