Hash Imperium

Power is cheap in Kazakhstan, Iceland stays cool and the wind blows in Texas — only the price does whatever it wants. Hash Imperium is a business simulation in the spirit of the strategy classics of the 80s and 90s, built around a mining farm for the fictional currency HashCoin. As a mining manager you buy sites at four locations from Texas to Kazakhstan, set up racks, negotiate power contracts and decide every round: sell your coins or hold them? Expand or save? And what do you do when a rival cuts your line? Whoever ends up on top is the crypto tycoon. YOUR FARM • Four locations with their own power market, climate and rules: Iceland, Texas, Scandinavia, Kazakhstan • Seven hardware generations, air, hydro and immersion cooling, risky overclocking • Spot price or fixed-price contract — heat waves, grid failures and storms keep every bill exciting • Halvings cut the block reward in half: only those who upgrade in time stay in business MARKETS AND MONEY • Candlestick chart with zoom, limit and stop orders, an OTC desk for fixed prices • Bank loan or crypto loan against your coins — and the dreaded margin call • Auctions for sites and the hardware of whole rivals EMERGENCIES AND THE DARK SIDE • Minigames: overclock chips, lay cooling pipes, fight fires, fend off cyber attacks and ransomware • Security, audits and insurance protect you — sabotage against others is possible, but the authorities are watching RIVALS AND GAMES • AI rivals with a character of their own: Rational, HODLer, Industrial Giant and Black-Hat Miner, in three strengths • Hot seat for up to four players on one iPhone or iPad • Three game lengths, three victory modes, starting scenarios and seeds of your choice • 30 world events, from ETF approval to a crypto ban ATMOSPHERE • 90s pixel art, a control room full of life, a synthwave soundtrack • Pixel-art cutscenes — from the intro to victory • News anchors and an operations manager with a voice — in English and German • Guided tutorial, tips the first time something happens and a glossary of every term FOR EVERYONE • Colour scheme for red-green colour blindness, text size up to 130 %, motion can be turned off • Plays fully offline — only buying the full version needs the internet • No ads, no data collection, no account Free to play: the short game in Iceland and Texas with up to two players. A one-time in-app purchase unlocks the full version with all locations, game lengths, AI archetypes and up to four players — no subscription, no ads. Please note: Hash Imperium is a game. HashCoin is a made-up currency — no real cryptocurrency is mined or traded, and your device does not compute anything for anyone.
