From the first frame to a finished story, Jiao brings camera control and image editing into one workspace. IMAGE STUDIO Open Image Studio with or without a camera. Add up to 30 images from Photos, Files, Gallery or downloaded originals. Stitch vertically or horizontally, reorder images and manually trim repeated edges. Adjust borders, spacing and background colors while viewing a large, scrollable canvas. Pinch to inspect details or switch to Overview. YOUR LOOK, THROUGHOUT Use the same 16 built-in camera looks, including Neutral, and imported .cube LUTs in your compositions. Preview the result before exporting JPEG or PNG. Save to Photos, share to Files and revisit previous exports. Drafts stay on the device; source images remain unchanged. CAMERA CONTROL Connect to a compatible Nikon camera over its Wi-Fi network. Use Guided mode for a step-by-step shooting plan, or Pro mode for direct camera controls, Live View, exposure tools, supported video operations and monitoring scopes. Review photographs in Gallery and follow a shoot through its local session timeline. Available controls depend on the connected camera and its current mode. ROOM TO WORK Layouts respond to the available window, from compact iPhone screens to iPad. Image Studio retains your viewing position and zoom as its workspace changes size, including the inner and outer displays of iPhone Duo. LOCAL BY DESIGN No account, analytics SDK or automatic cloud upload. Image processing and drafts stay on your device. Reports are shared only when you choose. REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITS Requires iOS 17 or later. Camera features require compatible Nikon hardware and a connection to its Wi-Fi network; Image Studio works independently. Camera support is capability-based and some operations remain subject to physical-device validation. Long-image stitching and trimming are manual, with no automatic overlap detection. Exports are flattened sRGB images limited to 32 MP and 32,768 pixels per edge; larger compositions scale down. Jiao does not assemble time-lapse videos. Jiao is independently developed and is not affiliated with, authorized by or endorsed by Nikon. Nikon and camera model names are trademarks of their respective owners.
