Every morning, a new case file lands on your desk in Caldmere — a fog-draped coastal New England town where everyone has something to hide. Theft, fraud, assault, arson, a body in the harbor. The crime changes. The pressure doesn't. Daily Sleuth is a two-minute daily ritual for true crime fans and puzzle lovers who want something sharper than a word game and moodier than a crossword. HOW IT WORKS Read today's case file — a short narrative with suspects, evidence, and a scene. Then make your accusation: Who did it. What they did. Where the evidence is hiding. Three questions, three suspects, one truth. Read closely — the file tells you everything you need, if you're paying attention. CLUES, IF YOU NEED THEM Stuck? Pull a clue. You have up to five — but every clue you use chips away at your score. The best detectives close the case clean. A NEW CASE EVERY DAY One case, every day, set in Caldmere. The difficulty climbs through the week — Monday is a gentle warm-up, Saturday is a proper noir gut-punch. Come back tomorrow for a fresh file. BUILD YOUR STREAK Solve the daily case and build your streak. The habit is the hook — miss a day and you start over. THE CALDMERE UNIVERSE Every case is set in Caldmere, a small town with a long memory. Recurring suspects, tangled histories, secrets that connect across cases. The more you play, the more you notice. Daily Sleuth is part of the Penumbra universe of mystery games. DESIGNED THE RIGHT WAY - One case a day — no endless scroll, no energy timers - No ads in the daily experience - Dark and light mode - A real mystery, written to be solved Read the file. Name the culprit. Close the case. Can you solve today's case? Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Text the suspects. Watch them deflect. Chapter 1 is free. You're an SFPD homicide detective on vacation in Hawaii when Chief Tanaka calls. The mayor's son is missing from a Pac Heights hacker mansion, and the housemates' stories don't line up. You're not flying back. You're solving this from a beach chair. You investigate from Aloha's phone — and your vacation keeps getting interrupted as the case widens. › Interrogate by Text Open a thread, ask your questions, watch a suspect deflect. Ask as much as you want. When the story stops adding up, make your accusation. Read the room, and accuse when you're sure. › Build the Case File Evidence collects in the Case File app, sorted by who slipped what. The People tab tracks everyone you've met. Work the whole house, then call Tanaka back and present your theory. › House drama, or a bigger conspiracy? A pre-revenue CEO who answers every question with a pitch deck. A wellness guru who deflects. A streamer narrating his own life. Plus the rest of the house — and a few of them know more than they're letting on. Chapter 1 is free. One unlock opens Chapter 2 and every chapter still to come. New chapters are in development.
