A game clock keeps matches fast and fair, and the doubling cube is there when you want to double what the game is worth. PLAY YOUR FRIENDS Share a private game code, or challenge someone from your friends list and see who's online. Or hand the phone back and forth and play on one board, with no internet needed. Send friends an invite link, see suggestions of people you may know, and get notified when friends challenge you. PLAY THE COMPUTER Practice against the engine at the difficulty you choose, from a gentle warm-up to an opponent that punishes a loose blot. Works fully offline. SEE WHERE YOU WENT WRONG After any game, replay it move by move with the engine's verdict on each one. See your accuracy score, the best play drawn beside the one you made, and how much of the result was the dice rather than the decisions. SOLVE RATED PUZZLES Work through positions taken from real games. Every puzzle has a rating and so do you: solve harder ones and yours climbs. STUDY ANY POSITION Set up a board by hand, pick the dice, and let the engine show you the best play and what the cube is worth. Backgammon Pearl

Backgammon Pearl is online backgammon on your phone, with dice you can check. ONE GAME TAKES ABOUT SIX MINUTES Tap Quick game for a rated game. Roll with a tap, move by tapping a checker and then a point, undo until you press Done. Forced moves play themselves. TWO ROOMS, INTERNATIONAL RULES • Quick game: one game, about 6 minutes. 1 point for a win, 2 for a gammon, 3 for a backgammon. • Classic match: first to 3 points, about 20 minutes. Every game starts with a fresh roll-off. Both are rated and play international rules. Classic match uses the doubling cube, with the Crawford rule; Quick has no cube. PLAY A FRIEND BY CODE Open a table, send the code, and your friend sits down across from you. Choose 1, 3 or 5 points, and switch on any of three house rules if you play that way: the opening winner rolls again, each game's winner starts the next, a backgammon counts 2. DICE YOU CAN CHECK Before the first roll, the server seals the dice and shows you the seal. Only then does your phone add a random seed of its own. Every roll is computed from both, so neither side can pick a roll alone. When the game or match ends, the seal opens and the app recomputes every roll: "all 52 rolls match". Tap Check these dice and backgammonpearl.com/check opens with the seeds and every roll filled in, so your own browser recomputes them too. ADS NEVER INTERRUPT YOUR GAME An ad can appear only after a game or a match ends and you have picked what to do next, and only after at least ten minutes of play since the last one. Never during a game, never between the games of a match. FREE No chips, no coins, no energy, no purchases. Your rating is the only score. ALSO • Play the computer offline at eight levels, from Beginner to Strongest, with every game's dice listed so you can recompute them. • A board drawn straight from above, with big checkers and clear points. • Two looks: light travertine stone by day, walnut and lamplight for the evening. Pick one, or let your phone's dark mode decide. • Made for a phone held sideways. • Ten languages: English, Turkish, Greek, Russian, German, Bulgarian, Romanian, Arabic, Hebrew and Persian. Turkish names every roll, like düşeş and şeş beş. Backgammon is the hitting game played as tavla in Turkey, tavli in Greece, shesh besh in Israel and nard in Iran. The rules here are the ones the whole world shares. A roll that does not add up, or anything else: support@backgammonpearl.com
