You're a brand new Hollywood producer with your own studio and something to prove. You pitch the movies, hire the talent, get them made, and send them into theaters. What happens next isn't up to you. An audience, the critics, and a focus group decide whether you made a hit. They're sure of themselves, and they're usually wrong. You just have to swallow it. Inspired by classic text-based simulation games, Sim Cinema Reflux lets you take a movie from pitch to final result: • Build the pitch. Pick a genre, write a synopsis, set a scope and a rating, cast it. Then hand it to a distributor, who decides what it's worth and gives you a budget you'll resent for the rest of the shoot. • Shoot it one week at a time. Something always comes up. A director who found a better third act that costs more. A lead who said something. A schedule that slipped. You make the call, and the trades decide what it meant. • Sell it before anyone's seen it. Buy a TV campaign, rent some influencers, stage a stunt. Or screen the unfinished cut and let a room of strangers tell you what you made. Sometimes they love it. Sometimes they're wrong too. • Open in theaters and watch the number go up. Opening weekend, the hold, the long fade. Crack the all-time top 10, or become the story other producers tell to feel better about their own. • It all runs on machine learning trained on real box office data. The crowd, the critics, the box office: every verdict comes from the model. It's rigorous and data-driven, and it'll be wrong about your movie with a clear conscience. • It runs on your device. No accounts, no servers, no ads, nothing collected about you. One purchase lifts the three-movie limit when you want more.

Second Unit is a single-player film studio management simulation. You start with a rented office, a modest credit line, and nobody returning your calls — and you have five in-game years to turn that into something. When the run ends, you're a major, absorbed by one, or in liquidation. THE PARALLEL PIPELINE Run two to five pictures through a seven-stage production pipeline at once — development, greenlight, pre-production, shooting, post, marketing, release. Slate capacity and cash runway are the only limits. There's no energy bar to wait out. TWO SCORES, NO BLACK BOX Every finished picture gets a critic score and an audience score, and the Post-Release Report itemizes exactly what earned each point. Nothing about how a film's quality is decided is hidden from you. THE RELEASE CALENDAR Six rival studios each hunt a different season, and they've been claiming the good weeks for years before you got there. Every release date is a decision made against a board that's already half full. PRESTIGE VS. CLOUT Chasing critical prestige costs you commercial clout, and vice versa — where the two land after five years decides which of six possible endings your studio reaches. FRANCHISES, TALENT, AND INSTITUTIONS Build a franchise off a hit and manage the upkeep and audience fatigue that come with it. Cast real talent with real availability windows. Keep the trades, the guilds, and the exhibitor circuit on your side — or don't. FULLY OFFLINE Second Unit runs entirely on your device. No account, no server, and no internet connection required to play. Idle progress is computed honestly from real elapsed time, never a background timer. Every studio, film, talent, and award depicted is entirely fictional, generated by the game. Any resemblance to real people, studios, or works is coincidental. Optional one-time purchases in the Front Office add content packs and a full unlock — never anything that makes your studio better at making pictures.
