About

OpenPacketLoss

Features

OpenPacketLoss-Server is a lightweight utility that transforms your computer into a dedicated network testing endpoint. By hosting the server on your own hardware, you can measure the precise quality of the connection between two points on your network, eliminating the unpredictable variables of the public internet. How to Use It Run the Server: Launch the app on a stable PC or laptopβ€”this becomes your "target" device. Connect the Client: Use any OpenPacketLoss client on a different device (such as a phone, tablet, or another PC). Troubleshoot: Start the test to view real-time packet loss, jitter, and latency. Why Run Your Own Server? Testing against a server you control allows you to isolate your hardware. You can instantly determine if connection drops are caused by faulty cables, weak Wi-Fi, or router congestion, or if the issue is actually with your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

About

LowPing

Is it the Wi-Fi, or is it the internet? LowPing helps you find out. LowPing measures your ping. It does not lower it. Nothing on a phone can. But once you can see the problem, you can fix the right thing. Type in any address (google.com, your router, your game server), tap Ping, and watch real ICMP replies arrive live. The same protocol the classic ping tool has used since 1983, not a web request pretending to be a ping. WHAT YOU GET - Live results: every reply the moment it lands, with round-trip time, TTL and timestamp. Timeouts shown for what they are. Late replies marked honestly. - Statistics that always add up: Sent equals Received plus Waiting plus Lost. Loss percent uses the classic ping formula, counted only over resolved probes. - Real ICMP over IPv4 and IPv6, sent with Apple's own networking APIs. - Tunable like the real tool: interval, timeout, TTL and payload size. - Color-coded latency so a glance tells you healthy from hurting. - Native SwiftUI, dark mode, VoiceOver and Dynamic Type throughout. WHAT LOWPING DOES NOT DO LowPing does not route, modify, or optimize your traffic. It is a measuring instrument. Once you know whether the problem is your Wi-Fi, your router, or somewhere past your provider, you can fix the right thing. PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no third-party code. LowPing has no server, so there is nowhere for your data to go. The only thing it ever sends are the ping packets you ask for. Free, with no in-app purchases. Built by a network admin who wanted the ping tool iOS never shipped. LowPing requests no system permissions. Nothing to grant, nothing to configure.
