Bible Marathon vs PlotReader

Bible Marathon – Read Together, Grow Together Reading the Bible is one of the most powerful habits you can build — but it's even better when you don't do it alone. Bible Marathon turns your daily Scripture reading into a shared journey with friends, family, or your whole church community. Whether you're a first-time reader or returning to the Word, Bible Marathon gives you everything you need to start strong, stay consistent, and finish well. BUILD YOUR PERFECT READING PLAN Every reader is different — so your plan should be too. Bible Marathon lets you create a fully customized reading plan tailored to exactly what you want to read and how long you want to take. Choose your reading scope: Full Bible — read every book from Genesis to Revelation Old Testament Only — dive deep into the foundation of Scripture New Testament Only — focus on the life of Jesus and the early church Custom Plan — select exactly the books you want to read Set your timeline: 1 Month, 2 Months, 3 Months, 4 Months, 6 Months, or 1 Full Year Choose your start date so your plan fits your life Pick the Bible version that works best for you and your group — because the best Bible is the one you'll actually read. READ WITH YOUR COMMUNITY Bible reading is better together. Bible Marathon was built from the ground up for groups — whether that's your small group, Sunday school class, family, or friends across the country. Once you create a plan, simply share your unique plan code with anyone you want to invite. They enter the code, join instantly, and your group reading journey begins. No complicated setup. No barriers. Just community. As everyone reads, you can see each other's progress in real time — celebrating milestones, noticing when someone falls behind, and encouraging one another to keep going. STAY ON TRACK EVERY DAY Life gets busy. Bible Marathon keeps you anchored with daily reminders so you never lose your reading streak. Smart notifications nudge you at the right time to open the app and spend time in the Word — because consistency is the key to finishing. TRACK PROGRESS TOGETHER One of the most motivating parts of Bible Marathon is seeing your whole group move through Scripture together. Watch as progress bars fill up, chapters get checked off, and your community grows closer to the finish line — one reading at a time. When you see a fellow group member making progress, it pushes you to open the app too. That's the power of accountability built right into the experience.
