Lumea vs Chat Journal

While you focus, it adventures. Lumea is an iPhone app that combines a focus timer, focus history, and pet raising. For study, work, and reading: focus on your task while your pet explores, then see what this time brings. ◆ Start focusing at your own pace • Set a 5–120 minute countdown in 5-minute steps, or start counting up without a preset duration • End a count-up session when you’re done; it ends automatically 12 hours after starting. Pausing does not extend that deadline • When leaving Lumea or locking your screen, choose to keep timing or auto-pause. After auto-pausing, return to the app and tap Resume • Track study, work, reading, exercise, or your own custom focus categories • If you end early, completed full focus minutes still count toward stats and base rewards ◆ Every return may bring a new discovery After an adventure, it may return with Outfits, Tools, or Melodies—a small surprise for the journey. Finish a full session to create a saveable, shareable watercolor Moment. ◆ It remembers every focus session A session is recorded after at least one full focus minute. Revisit each record in the Footprints timeline, and use weekly category totals to see where your focused time went. ◆ Make room for focus today Daily Promise is optional. Set a daily goal of 5–120 minutes; after granting access, choose apps or categories to set aside on this device. Selected apps unlock automatically when you reach your goal. • Valid on-device focus minutes from both count-up and countdown sessions count—no need to finish in one sitting • Unlock temporarily when needed, or turn Daily Promise off anytime; no membership required • Your goal and selected apps stay on this device and are never synced Reach your goal at your own pace. ◆ Let focus hatch new pets Completed sessions give your pet XP and add hatching progress to the current egg. Hatch and collect 24 watercolor pets; hatching a pet you already own gives Gleam instead. Steady focus also advances pets, places, collections, and milestones. ◆ Style its adventures, your way Mix keepsakes, outfits, tools, and available badges in any slot—up to 3 per pet for free users or 6 with Membership—and adjust each item's position, size, rotation, and layer order. Lumea has no hunger meter, energy limit, or required daily chores. Taking time away from the app never makes your pet worse or removes progress you already earned. ◆ Apple Health boosts (optional) You can choose to connect Apple Health. If yesterday's steps or last night's sleep meet the goals, the current session receives a boost to pet XP and the current egg's hatching progress. Not granting access does not affect core features or base rewards. ◆ Free features and optional membership Start immediately in Guest mode. Free users can access every core feature. Lumea Membership is an optional monthly auto-renewable subscription that adds 50% to pet XP and hatching progress earned from focus time, a one-time Starisle Cloak welcome outfit per Lumea account, and a member badge. Fixed hatching bonuses are not multiplied. Membership does not change drop rates, pity counters, or the range of free features. Eligible Apple accounts can receive one 7-day free trial. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews automatically. Your Apple account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. A free trial converts to a paid subscription when it ends; cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid a charge. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Just text Romi like you would a friend. "Had curry for lunch", "Walked 5,000 steps", "Went to bed late again" — Romi sorts each message into your diary so you can confirm it with one tap. No forms, no blank pages. ◆ Chat to Log Your diary looks like a messenger. Send a message and Romi turns it into entries: meals, mood, sleep, steps, purchases, notes and more. You check them in a list before they're saved. On devices with Apple Intelligence, Romi also chats back. The AI runs on your device. Tap the mic to speak instead of typing, or send a photo to save it as a photo entry. ◆ Alarms Just text "Wake me up at 7:00 tomorrow" or "Wake me at 6:30 every day" and Romi sets the alarm. Repeat every day or on weekdays, and pick a gentle song if you like. When you stop it, Romi says good morning. ◆ Mina, Your Secretary Ask Mina for today's summary, a look back at your week, or tomorrow's plans, or tell her a plan to add. She answers from your own entries. Free for everyone. ◆ Keyboard: Log From Any App Type as usual in Messages, Notes or anywhere else, switch to the Chat Journal keyboard, and tap "Log with Romi". The next time you open the app, Romi sorts it for you to confirm. On devices with Apple Intelligence, the keyboard can also polish what you wrote: make it polite, make it casual, or proofread it. The keyboard never connects to the internet. Full Access is only used to pass your note to this app on the same device. ◆ 13 Log Categories Memo, Mood, Photo, Steps, Sleep, Purchase, Meal, Exercise, Weight, Reading, Water, Medicine and more. Import steps, sleep and weight from Apple Health with a tap. ◆ A Timeline You'll Want to Reread Your days flow into a timeline with morning, afternoon and evening bands, photos and a monthly calendar. ◆ Plans & Lists Keep plans with reminders and repeat schedules, save books and movies you want to see, and collect songs, links and notes in your lists. ◆ Meet Romi Your cat companion has 43 expressions and speaks 35 languages. Earn badges for streaks and milestones, and listen to 26 built-in songs or your own music while you log. ◆ Free to Start No account needed. Your entries sync across your devices with iCloud. Use 7 categories for free, or unlock 11 or all 13 with a one-time purchase.
