SpeakToMe is a gentle speech practice app for non-verbal, minimally verbal, and speech-delayed children. It was built by a parent for families who need something calm, practical, and easy to use at home. Instead of pressuring children to say everything perfectly, SpeakToMe helps them practise communication in small, encouraging steps. Every attempt matters. A sound, a word approximation, a gesture, or a tiny try can all be part of progress. SpeakToMe is designed to help parents create short, low-pressure practice moments where children feel safe to try again. WHY PARENTS CHOOSE SPEAKTOME Built for non-verbal and minimally verbal children Encourages speech practice without pressure Celebrates attempts, not just perfect answers Works in short daily sessions Designed to reduce distraction Parent-controlled settings and progress Core practice runs on-device No account required for daily practice HOW IT WORKS Your child sees a simple prompt, such as a picture, word, letter, number, or early speech target. They are encouraged to try saying it aloud. SpeakToMe listens on the device and gives encouraging feedback. Practice continues at your child’s pace, with rewards and celebrations to help keep the experience positive. The goal is not perfection. The goal is repeated, supported attempts. STRUCTURED SPEECH PRACTICE SpeakToMe includes a staged curriculum for early communication practice: First sounds and vocal attempts Letters and phonemic awareness Numbers up to ten Picture-supported first words Everyday objects, actions, food, animals, colors, and body parts Written word recognition Multi-word combinations for children ready to progress You can start wherever your child feels most comfortable. SUPPORT THAT ADAPTS Children need different levels of help. SpeakToMe lets parents choose how much support the app provides. Start with more help, then reduce support gradually as your child gains confidence. Parents can control: Curriculum stage Support level Practice length Reward goals Unlimited practice mode Progress summaries PRACTICE WITHOUT PRESSURE SpeakToMe is designed for children who may not respond right away. Parents do not need to correct every attempt. In fact, the app is built around encouragement. When your child tries, you can smile, celebrate, and keep the session positive. That calm repetition is the point. ON-DEVICE PRACTICE Speech practice runs on the device, so sessions can work without relying on cloud processing during practice. That means: No internet needed for core practice sessions No cloud delay during practice Practice at home, in the car, or in waiting rooms A more private experience for families PARENT DASHBOARD The parent section is protected behind a simple challenge, helping keep settings away from little fingers. Parents can review progress, change practice goals, adjust support, and choose the right level for their child. BUILT FOR REAL FAMILY LIFE SpeakToMe is made for short, repeatable moments. Use it for 5 calm minutes a day, or for longer sessions when your child is ready. It is not a replacement for professional speech therapy. It is a home practice tool designed to support communication practice between therapy sessions, daily routines, and real family life. Behavior Tracker helps parents and carers record difficult moments, spot patterns, and create clearer notes to share with others. Quickly log what happened before, during and after an incident using an ABC-style format: - Antecedent: what was happening just before? - Behavior: what did you see? - Consequence: what happened next? - Severity and duration - Location - Early signs - What helped - Notes Behavior Tracker is designed for families supporting children who may have meltdowns, self-injurious behavior, distress, transitions, denied access difficulties, sensory triggers, or other challenging moments. Reports & Insights A one-time purchase unlocks Reports & Insights. There is no subscription. View weekly and longer-term patterns, including: - Entries over time - Average severity - Average duration - Common antecedents, behaviors and responses - Situations that often lead to incidents - Trends that may show whether things are improving You can also generate shareable PDF reports from your logged incidents. Reports can include incident summaries, charts, antecedent-behavior summaries, common situation summaries, average severity, average duration, and recorded patterns over time. Reports may be useful when preparing for conversations with family members, schools, carers, therapists, consultants, or behavior specialists. They are based only on the incidents you record and do not provide clinical conclusions or advice. Common situations You can add common situations, such as morning dressing, waiting for dinner, bedtime, or leaving the house, and estimate how often they usually happen. This helps compare incidents with routine frequency, giving a clearer picture than incident counts alone. For example, 3 incidents in a week may mean something very different if the routine happened 3 times or 30 times. Export and share Export logs or create PDF reports to help prepare for conversations with family members, schools, carers, therapists or behavior specialists. Behavior Tracker is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis or treatment advice. It is a practical logging and reflection tool to help families record what happened and notice patterns over time.
