AlphaCapture vs Simplphoto

AlphaCapture is a professional-style camera viewfinder for iPhone, built around Apple ProRAW still capture and the kind of exposure feedback you expect from a dedicated EVF, not a minimal point-and-shoot UI. UI was inspired by industry leading medium format cameras in the market. Developed to work on iPhone 16 Pro & newer models. SHOOT WITH CONFIDENCE Use a large live preview with tap-to-focus, optional face lock for people in the frame, and exposure compensation you can adjust with a long-press and vertical drag on the preview. Top telemetry keeps aperture, shutter, ISO, white balance (Kelvin), and scene EV readable at a glance so you can judge exposure before you press the shutter. PRORAW, FULL RESOLUTION Capture Apple ProRAW (DNG) at the full still resolution your active lens and device support when the pipeline is ready, so you retain maximum 45MP detail for editing. Lens selection uses the physical ultra-wide, wide, and telephoto modules where available. After you change lenses, give the app a brief moment so the high-resolution ProRAW path can lock before you shoot. SCOPES THAT READ LIKE HARDWARE Switch between a live histogram and a column waveform to see how tone is distributed across shadows, midtones, and highlights. A clipping pill summarises shadow and highlight risk from the live histogram so you can react before you lose detail. VIEWFINDER MODES Immersive mode fades most chrome so the scene fills the frame while keeping essentials like the grid, focus brackets, EV strip, shutter and immersive toggle. An optional monochrome preview helps you judge luminance and contrast on screen, your ProRAW file is unchanged. Professional photographers love this feature! LEARN AS YOU GO An in-app guide explains exposure readouts, the shutter workflow, scopes, lenses, and immersive mode so you are not guessing what each control does. ACCESS Start with a 7-day trial that unlocks premium capture and interface features. When you are ready, Full Unlock is a one-time in-app purchase for lifetime access, with no subscription. REQUIREMENTS & PRIVACY ProRAW availability, maximum photo dimensions and lens behavior depend on your iPhone model and iOS version. The app requests camera access for preview, metering, and capture, and photo library access to save images you choose to keep. MODELS Runs on: iPhones on iOS 26.4+ on models 14 Pro and later Pro) Designed for: Pro-class iPhones that support your 48MP class ProRAW pipeline; others may install but not fully capture as intended. Ideal phones: iPhone 16/17 Pro/Max Whether you are chasing landscape detail, careful exposure on the telephoto, or a disciplined workflow in the field, AlphaCapture is designed to put ProRAW capture and serious metering tools in one place.

Simplphoto is a practical camera app built around three creative tools: manual photography, stop motion and collages. In Camera mode, the focus is control. You can adjust ISO, shutter speed, focus, white balance, flash, lens, aspect ratio and resolution before taking a shot. Simplphoto is made for users who want a more deliberate way to shoot on iPhone, with less automatic decision-making and no added AI filters, face retouching or beauty effects from the app. It is useful for product shots, textures, documents, reference photos, creative tests, low-light scenes and any situation where consistency matters. Stop Motion uses the same camera-first approach. Instead of simply turning random photos into a video, it lets you build a sequence with manual camera settings, so exposure, focus and color can stay more consistent from frame to frame. Choose the shooting interval, capture your frames and export the result as a video. The app does not add AI effects to your stop motion sequence, which helps keep the result closer to the original scene. Collage mode is a separate creative tool for arranging multiple images in a clean layout. You can choose different output ratios, change the background color, adjust spacing, select the number of photos and switch between layouts such as grids and large-photo compositions. It is useful for before-and-after sets, product comparisons, moodboards, social media layouts, visual summaries and clean image collections. Key features: • Manual ISO, shutter, focus and white balance control • High-resolution photo capture on supported iPhone models • Multiple aspect ratios for shooting and collage export • Flash and lens control where available • Monochrome mode and quick bright/dark presets • Stop motion capture with adjustable interval and video export • Collage maker with customizable ratio, layout, spacing and background • Built-in vault for photos, stop motion videos and collages • Export to Photos, Files, AirDrop and other iOS sharing options • Light and dark interface themes Simplphoto is not trying to replace your creativity with automatic effects. It gives you clear controls, predictable tools and a simple workflow for taking photos, making stop motion videos and creating collages directly on your iPhone.
