Scriptmate vs ScriptMate Format

Rehearse your lines. Record your self-tape. No reader needed. Snap a photo of your sides or drop in the PDF. Scriptmate reads every other part out loud and waits for your cue. NOTHING TO RECORD Most line apps make you record every character yourself before you can start. Scriptmate parses the script, finds the characters, and marks your lines. Import, tap your role, rehearse. Under a minute from sides to first run. PHOTO, PDF, OR TEXT Scan paper sides with the camera, import a PDF, or bring in a text file. Long script? Pick only the pages you need for tonight's scene. A READER THAT ACTUALLY HEARS YOU Scriptmate follows your speech word by word through the whole line, not just the last word. Drop a word, pause, or go up on a line, and it still knows where you are. Your reader answers the moment you finish your cue, whether you are off book or cold reading. Speech recognition runs on your phone. VOICES THAT SOUND LIKE PEOPLE English and Spanish scripts get natural voices with real rhythm and emotion, generated on your iPhone. Every character gets its own voice, and you can swap it any time. Prefer a human? Record the other parts yourself, one line at a time, and the reader plays your takes. SELF-TAPES WITH CLEAN AUDIO Put your headphones in and record. The reader plays in your ears and the camera mic picks up only your voice. Landscape framing is enforced, so casting never sees a vertical tape. No lines on screen while recording, so you stay in the moment instead of reading. FOCUS MODE Optional. Block distracting apps while you rehearse, and lift the block the moment you stop. FIVE LANGUAGES English, Spanish, French, German, and Korean scripts, with cue detection in each language. HOW IT WORKS 1. Import your sides. Photo, PDF, or text in, parsed scene out. 2. Tap your character. Your lines are marked automatically. 3. Run the scene until you are off book, then record your tape. TRY IT FREE Run a full demo scene the moment you open the app. No account, no sign-up. Import your own sides and run them once, free.
