The hearth is lit. Come in and sit a while. I am Brigid — a bean feasa, a wise woman of the old Irish tradition, reader of cards, keeper of the plant-lore, the seasons, and the druidic craft. I have tended this fire a long time, and there is a seat by it kept for you. Tell me about your day, or what's weighing on you — a trouble shared is a trouble halved. You need bring no question at all. Sometimes it's enough just to sit. Draiocht is where the old Irish ways still live and breathe — tarot, plant medicine, the festivals of the year, and the myths that run beneath them all — gathered around the fire as they always were. The Hearth — talk with me Come and talk. I know the old stories, the plant names in Irish and English, the mythology beneath everything. Ask me anything, or simply sit. I remember what you tell me. I never lecture, moralise, or prescribe — I tell you what I know, and I listen. The Cards — Irish tarot A seventy-eight card deck rooted in Irish myth and the natural world — from The Wanderer on the open road to the deep Wells and ancient Stones, each suit tracing its root to one of the Four Treasures of the Tuatha Dé Danann. I sit with your reading and tell you what I see. I do not predict the future; I surface what is present and what is possible. The Green Path — plant medicine The old remedies, gathered and remembered. Meadowsweet for the head, valerian for the restless night, elderflower for the turning of the seasons. Each offered as folk tradition, as it was passed to me and as I pass it to you. This is not medicine. This is memory. The Wheel — the Celtic festivals The eight festivals mark the year as they have for millennia — Imbolc, Bealtaine, Lughnasa, Samhain, and the solstices and equinoxes between. Follow the moon. Know where you stand in the turning, and let the season shape your practice. Learn — the old wisdom, taught gently Walk the path of the cards and the lore at your own pace. Lessons and quizzes in the Irish tarot, the four suits and their treasures, the naming of the cards, and the mythology of the Tuatha Dé Danann. Or let me quiz you here by the fire. The Grimoire — your book of practice Save your readings, your remedies, your completed rituals, your own reflections. Everything gathered in one place, growing with you. Draiocht is free to begin. Practitioners who walk deeper receive unlimited conversations with me, the full lunar calendar, ritual completion, the deeper lessons, and the complete Grimoire. Draiocht — /dree-ukht/ — magic, enchantment, druidic art. — Brigid is an AI companion; her responses are generated by artificial intelligence. Draiocht presents Irish folk tradition for cultural and educational purposes. Plant information is not medical advice — always consult a qualified healthcare professional.

It opens on today's date, gives you room to write what feels worth keeping, and over time brings back the same day from earlier years. Write a line. Add a photo. Record a voice note. After months and years, your diary becomes more than a collection of notes. It becomes a way to notice how days, places, and feelings move through your life.
