A free teleprompter that records — unlimited scripts, unlimited auto-scroll, built-in camera. No account needed. Record video while reading your script, then export it for free with a small “Made with GoScript” mark. Pro removes the mark. Use scripts in your language; speech recognition availability depends on the language and device. Studio Your first eligible own project exports for free with “Made with GoScript”. After its first export, adding takes or making a new assembly requires Pro. Deleting the project does not reset the allowance. That free project keeps the mark on every export, even after you upgrade to Pro or lifetime; projects you create with Pro, a trial or lifetime export without it. Projects created with Pro or a trial retain clean basic caption, trim, style, recovery and export access after entitlement ends. New projects and advanced work need active Pro. Refunded or revoked access is subject to verification. GoScript helps you prepare and deliver your words on camera. Write or paste a script, rehearse at your own pace, then read from the screen while recording. Keep your talking points close for lessons, presentations, social videos or a message you want to get right. READ COMFORTABLY Adjust text size, line spacing and scrolling speed. Choose readability fonts and high contrast to suit your setup. Use automatic scrolling or move through the script manually. Mirror mode supports teleprompter rigs. Rehearse before recording so you can settle into a natural pace. RECORD AND SHARE The integrated camera displays your script while you record. Save your video to Photos or share it after export. Free recordings carry the small “Made with GoScript” mark; Pro removes it. Save an export you want to keep before the take’s seven-day library period ends. MAKE ROOM FOR YOUR MESSAGE Vlog: keep your introduction and main points in view while recording a personal update. Sermon: prepare your opening, references and closing, then rehearse the delivery before recording. Pitch: put the problem, proposal and next step in one script so your camera take follows your outline. Class: turn lesson notes into a script and practise explaining each idea at your own pace. Start with the words you already have. Paste a draft, adjust its size and spacing, and try the scrolling speed before you record. You can revise the script between takes. Allow the camera to record video and the microphone to include sound. Photos access is requested when saving there. Export and share when your take is ready. PRIVACY AND CHOICE Scripts and recordings are stored on your device. Classic voice-follow may send speech to Apple for recognition, subject to your permission. Language and device support vary. Analytics and crash reporting help identify problems; you can switch both off in Settings. GOSCRIPT PRO Pro removes the watermark and includes unlimited AI script help. Free AI help is capped. Lifetime is a one-time purchase. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Trials are available only when the App Store shows that you are eligible; check the purchase screen for the applicable terms. Manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Privacy Policy: https://goscript-legal.vercel.app/privacy Terms of Use: https://goscript-legal.vercel.app/terms

Simple Video Teleprompter does one thing properly: it puts your script on the screen, right next to the lens, so you can read it and record at the same time without looking away from the camera. There is no paywall, no sign-up, no trial, and no watermark on your video. You open the app and everything works, including the features other teleprompter apps charge for. WRITE OR PASTE YOUR SCRIPT Type it, paste it, or edit it in the app. Save as many scripts as you like, at any length. There is no cap on the number of scripts, no character limit, and no recording time limit beyond the storage on your phone. Everything saves as you type, so there is no Save button to forget. READ IT OVER THE LIVE CAMERA Your script scrolls in an overlay on top of the camera preview, so your eyes stay on the lens. Scrolling and recording are completely separate: you can rehearse the scroll before you ever hit record, and you can start, pause, or scrub the script mid-take without touching the recording. If you need to stop reading for a second, tap. The recording keeps going. SET YOUR OWN PACE Speed is set as a reading pace in words per minute, not an abstract slider number, so it stays accurate when you change the text size. Adjust text size and line spacing to whatever is comfortable at your shooting distance. MIRROR MODE, FREE Flip the script horizontally for a beam splitter or a physical teleprompter rig. This is a paid feature in most competing apps. Here it is a toggle, and it stays free. RECORD PROPERLY 1080p video, front or back camera, portrait or landscape. Orientation is locked the moment you hit record, so a take never comes out half sideways. A live audio meter sits next to the record button and moves when you talk, so you can confirm the mic is working before you commit to a long take, not after. The script overlay is on your screen only. It is never burned into the video file. MICROPHONE HANDLING THAT DOES NOT DEGRADE YOUR AUDIO Wired and USB-C microphones route automatically at full quality, and if one is unplugged mid-recording the take continues on the built-in mic instead of dying. When AirPods or other Bluetooth headphones are connected, the app deliberately records from the better built-in or wired mic rather than dropping to compressed Bluetooth call quality, while playback still goes through your headphones. HANDS-FREE START AND STOP Start and stop recording with your phone's volume buttons, or with the button on a compatible external mic transmitter. You can also bind a double tap on the screen to restart the script, jump the scroll, or toggle play and pause. KEEP IT OR SHOOT IT AGAIN Every take goes to a review screen first. Watch it back, then Keep to save it to Photos or Retake to throw it away and go straight back to recording. Nothing is written to your photo library unless you say so. YOUR SCRIPTS STAY ON YOUR PHONE No account, no cloud, no sync. Scripts and recordings are stored on your device, which also means there is nothing to lose to a sync bug and nothing for us to collect. The privacy label on this listing says Data Not Collected because that is literally true. WHAT YOU WILL NOT FIND IN THIS APP No subscription. No in-app purchases. No ads. No account or email required. No watermark. No feature that is free today and locked behind a payment next year. No pop-ups asking you to rate the app over and over. GOOD FOR Creators recording talking-head videos, reels, and intros. Actors filming self-tapes. Teachers and trainers recording lessons. Founders and business owners recording updates and pitches. Anyone giving a speech, a toast, a sermon, or a presentation who would rather sound prepared than memorize the whole thing. If you have ever recorded the same thirty seconds fifteen times because you kept losing your line, this is for you.

GoScript's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
