What did you eat before you felt bad? Reflux Diary is built to answer that one question. Log your meals. Log your symptoms. Both land on one timeline, so you can see which foods you ate before your symptoms. This is not a calorie counter. There are no streaks to protect and no lectures about what you should have eaten. It is a record of what you ate and how you felt. HOW IT WORKS 1. Log the meal. Type it in, or use the camera to read a menu, a dish, a barcode or a food label. Menu, dish and food-label scanning is a Pro feature. Barcode scanning is free with an account. 2. Log the symptom when it starts, and set how strong it was. 3. Watch the food settle. After a few meals with the same food, it moves into a band like Safe, Limit or Avoid. Until there is enough to say, it stays in Tracking. You can overrule any band yourself, and withdraw the overrule later. The diary is yours, and so is the last word. WHAT YOU GET - A day timeline of meals, symptoms and digestion windows - A band for every food you eat often enough - Menu, dish and food-label scanning with Pro, and barcode scanning free - Weekly highlights and a symptom history grid - A dietary profile, checked against the dishes you scan. It flags what a dish may contain, and is not an allergen analysis - No ads and no third-party analytics WHAT IT COSTS Free: log meals and symptoms by hand, scan barcodes, keep your full timeline, and see results for your first 100 tracked foods. A food counts once per cooking method. Scanning needs a free account. Reflux Diary Pro adds AI scanning of menus, dishes and food labels. Pro also removes the 100-food limit, so every food you log can earn a band, and lets you merge duplicate foods. Pro is an auto-renewing subscription with weekly, monthly and yearly options. It renews until you cancel it. Cancel any time in your Apple account settings. Reflux Diary Lifetime is a one-time purchase. It removes the 100-food limit and unlocks merging, the same as Pro. For scanning you use your own AI provider key, or run menu and food-label scans on your iPhone where the hardware supports it. ABOUT THE SCAN AND AI Menu, dish and food-label scans use AI. Your photo and related food details may be sent to an AI company we work with, such as Google or OpenAI. The app names the provider and asks for your permission first. Scanning is optional. Barcode scanning uses no AI. The code is read on your device and looked up in the Open Food Facts database. BEFORE YOU START Reflux Diary is a personal diary for general wellness, not a medical device and not a substitute for professional care. Talk to your doctor about your symptoms. Most acid reflux advice hands you a list of 40 foods to avoid. AcidLog does the opposite: it finds the 3 or 4 that actually bother YOU — so you can stop fearing the rest. Log a meal and how you felt in about 30 seconds. AcidLog's correlation engine compares each food with your other meals and names it as a likely trigger only when your symptoms keep following it — often within about two weeks for foods you eat regularly. Your personal trigger list is ranked by confidence. WHY A GENERIC "AVOID THESE FOODS" LIST FAILS Coffee wrecks one person and does nothing to the next. Reflux is personal. Instead of eliminating everything, AcidLog watches your own meals and symptoms and surfaces the patterns that are actually yours. HOW IT WORKS 1. Log — add a meal and rate symptoms (heartburn, regurgitation, throat, cough, bloating) in seconds. 2. Correlate — the on-device engine links foods to the symptoms that followed. 3. Discover — once a food keeps coming before your symptoms, it joins your ranked list of likely triggers, with a confidence score for each. Trigger foods you eat often usually show up within about two weeks; occasional ones take longer. WHAT'S FREE The full 14-day trigger discovery is free: log meals and symptoms and see your first correlations and trigger list. No trial paywall in front of the core. ACIDLOG PRO (monthly or annual subscription) - Your whole diary analysed, not just the last 14 days - Your full history stays viewable - Doctor-ready PDF report to bring to your gastroenterologist - Trends across weeks and months BUILT FOR REAL LIFE - Offline logging — entries save straight to your phone; with a free account they are backed up and sync when you're back online - No ads. Ever. - Fast enough to log at the table, not an hour later - Works for GERD, silent reflux / LPR, and post-meal indigestion MADE FOR - Adults with GERD or silent reflux (LPR), including long-term PPI users who want their own triggers, not another handout - Anyone newly diagnosed and told to "keep a food diary" - Caregivers who cook and want to know which meals set off symptoms AN HONEST NOTE AcidLog is a diary and correlation tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition, and it isn't a substitute for your doctor. Its job is to hand you and your clinician better data. Find your triggers, keep your food. Start free.
