## App Description Reading shouldn't be this hard. SpeedReader is a free Safari extension that lets you speed read any web page using RSVP (Rapid Serial Visual Presentation) β€” showing one word at a time at a controlled pace. For neurodivergent readers β€” people with ADHD, dyslexia, or other processing differences β€” traditional reading is exhausting. Eyes jump between lines, focus drifts mid-paragraph, and articles get abandoned halfway through. RSVP removes the cognitive overhead of eye tracking and line scanning, so your brain just processes. **How it works** Tap the SpeedReader icon in Safari's toolbar. The article text is extracted automatically and words appear one at a time with a highlighted focus point. Tap anywhere to pause, tap again to resume. That's it. **Features** β€’ Focus-point highlighting β€” each word highlights its optimal recognition point, the letter your eye naturally anchors to β€’ Context preview β€” pause and see the surrounding sentence to re-orient quickly β€’ Punctuation pacing β€” periods and commas add natural micro-pauses so content flows like speech β€’ Speed control β€” 100 to 600 words per minute β€’ OpenDyslexic font β€” toggle the dyslexia-friendly font with one tap β€’ Light and dark mode β€” follows your system theme or override manually β€’ Keyboard shortcuts β€” on Mac and iPad: Space to play/pause, arrows to navigate β€’ Text selection fallback β€” select any text on a page and speed read just that β€’ Works entirely offline β€” no data leaves your device No accounts. No subscriptions. No tracking. Free and open source.

CardMaker is a Safari extension and companion app for creating Anki-ready flashcards from webpages. When you are reading articles, tutorials, interview questions, or study materials in Safari, tap the CardMaker extension to analyze the current page and generate structured flashcards. You can preview the cards in the app, review past sessions, and export them as a TSV file for importing into Anki. Key features: β€’ Safari webpage recognition Create flashcards directly from the current Safari page and reduce the time spent copying, cleaning, and formatting content manually. β€’ Card preview Review each card’s front, back, and confidence score before exporting. β€’ History Keep previous recognition sessions so you can revisit, manage, or export them again later. β€’ TSV export Export generated cards in a TSV format that is suitable for Anki import. You can try exporting the first 5 cards for free. β€’ Local-first workflow Recognized sessions are stored on your device and in the shared App Group container. The current version does not use third-party analytics SDKs and does not upload webpage content to a server. CardMaker is useful for: β€’ Turning technical articles into review cards β€’ Converting interview questions into Anki flashcards β€’ Breaking long tutorials into smaller study units β€’ Building a personal review library from webpages CardMaker does not replace Anki. It helps you get webpage content into a clean flashcard format faster.
