Anybody can have bars. Rap Lab is the recording studio for rappers who don't have a studio. Import your own beat, step into the Vocal Booth, and record your bars. Then use the Wave Timeline to see your vocal sitting right against the beat — and Line It Up to shift your timing until it locks. Export the whole mix as one clean audio file and share it anywhere. WHAT RAP LAB DOES: Beat Deck — Import any audio file as your backing track. Adjust beat volume with a live slider. Vocal Booth — Record your bars with a real-time live meter showing your vocal energy. Wave Timeline — See your beat waveform and vocal waveform side-by-side. Watch the playhead move through your track. Line It Up — Slide your vocal take −2 to +2 seconds against the beat until your timing is on point. Studio Transport — Play your beat and vocal mix together in real time before committing to export. Mixdown Export — Renders your beat and vocal into one finished .m4a audio file with your volume levels and timing baked in. Share it to SoundCloud, WhatsApp, iMessage, or anywhere. ONE PURCHASE. NO MONTHLY BILL. Rap Lab is built for artists who shouldn't have to pay monthly rent just to record a verse. Try one full session free, then unlock once and keep the full studio forever — unlimited recording, full mixdown export, and every feature in the app. No subscription. No recurring charge. No gotcha. BUILT FOR BEGINNERS STARTING OUT: You don't need a producer. You don't need studio time. You don't need expensive gear. Record a freestyle over a beat you found online, line up your vocal timing, and mix it down on your phone. The Wave Timeline makes it easy to hear exactly where your flow sits in the track — something most studio apps never show you. "This is the first app that actually showed me where my timing was off. The waveform timeline changed how I record." — early beta user Rap Lab requires microphone access to record vocals. Free tier includes 1 session with 1-minute recording cap. One-time in-app purchase removes all limits. No subscription.
