451 Mail takes the IMAP protocol and puts a new spin on a very old protocol. A unique visual interface allows you to hide, delete and blacklist individual users and entire domains. Notifications from the 451 publishing system follow the mail protocol, but with custom headers and custom bodies that create a fully distributed system for 451 notification. Parties can give signed referrals that introduce a party and push an email into the inbox owner's awareness. Comments associated with 451 publications can flow through the client also, leveraging email to create an advanced communication system.
