Cask & Note
Read full descriptionHide full description
Remember every pour. Know every bottle. You poured something good at a bar in October and gave it a nine. In February you are standing in front of the same shelf with no idea what it was called. Cask & Note fixes that. LOG A POUR IN TWENTY SECONDS Pick the bottle, pick how you took it (neat, rocks, a splash of water, a highball, a cocktail or a flight), score it out of ten, tap a few flavors, done. At home, open More detail for Nose, Palate and Finish notes, six structure meters (Sweet, Spice, Smoke, Oak, Heat, Finish), color, glassware, and the facts that actually matter: proof, age statement, mash bill, finish cask, batch, barrel number, store pick, bottled in bond, cask strength. Four pours at a bar is one session, not four chores. WHISKEY VOCABULARY, NOT WINE VOCABULARY Styles for all of it: bourbon, rye, Tennessee, wheat, American single malt, Scotch by region, Irish pot still, Japanese, Canadian and world. A flavor library of 160 notes, from caramel and cornbread to brine, creosote and old leather. Autocomplete covers 236 distilleries and 1,068 expressions, and free text always works for the single barrel nobody else has heard of. THE BUNKER Your shelf, drawn as your shelf. Every bottle at its real fill level (full, three quarters, half, quarter, heel, killed). Sealed or open, what you paid, where you bought it, when you opened it, and the whole history of every bottle: opened, poured, restocked, killed, gifted, sold. No cap on bottles, ever. ASK STILLMAN An in-house whiskey guide that has read your journal and your Bunker, not a crowd average. "What on my shelf is closest to Weller 12?" "What makes a bourbon wheated?" Every account starts with 10 free AI credits, and a question costs 1. SCAN THE LABEL Point the camera at a bottle and Cask & Note reads the distillery, expression, proof, age statement, mash bill and the flags off the label. It never guesses a field that is not printed, and you review everything before it saves. A scan costs 1 AI credit. THE HUNT LIST The bottles you are chasing, with a target price and the date and place you last saw one. Found it? It moves straight into the Bunker with the facts already filled in. Scan a bar menu and it flags anything on your hunt list. YOURS, PRIVATELY No feed, no followers, no leaderboard. Your notes are private to your account. Start without an account. Bring your old spreadsheet: import it, and AI can match the columns for you. Add a bottle you already have and it tells you. Delete your account from inside the app. Dark or light, your choice. CASK & NOTE PRO, PAY ONCE One payment of $14.99 unlocks Pro for good and adds 25 AI credits: - Bunker Insights: spend by month, what the collection is worth, cost per pour, bottles waiting too long and heels to finish. - Your palate report, a tier list of your bottles and your full year in review. - Blind tastings and tasting nights, and side-by-side compare. - Your infinity bottle, and your empties counted up. - Photos on your pours, CSV export of everything, themes, a supporter badge and share cards without the watermark. AI CREDITS Stillman, label and menu scans, Tonight's Pour and flights run on AI credits. A question or a label scan costs 1 credit, a menu scan 2, Tonight's Pour and a flight 3, and an AI column match for an import 1. Every account starts with 10 free credits. Packs: 50 credits for $4.99, 110 for $9.99, 250 for $19.99. Credits never expire and stay with your account. Your journal and your Bunker, with no cap on bottles, are free and stay free. There are no ads in the app. Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription; credit packs are consumable. Both are charged to your Apple Account when you confirm. US prices; your local price shows before you buy. Terms of Use: https://caskandnote.com/terms Privacy Policy: https://caskandnote.com/privacy Cask & Note is for people of legal drinking age.
