Stencilize

Stencilize helps tattoo artists move faster from reference image to workable stencil. Take a photo or upload one from your device, generate a flattened black-and-white linework version, then save, print, AirDrop, share, or bring the result into Procreate for final edits. The app is built around a simple three-tab workflow: - Generate from camera or photo library - Review saved generations with before/after comparison - Manage credits, account recovery, support, privacy, and terms Stencilize uses credits because each AI generation has real processing cost. One credit creates one stencil, and credits are purchased through Apple In-App Purchase. Sign in with Apple is optional for account recovery, but recommended if you want credits and synced generations available across iPhone and iPad.

Verdict
InkyTattoo and Stencilize are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. InkyTattoo sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Stencilize sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
