Debt

Debt-Free is a manual, on-device payoff planner that helps you estimate a path out of debt without connecting to a bank. Add balances, APRs, minimum payments, and optional monthly due days; compare avalanche and snowball strategies; explore extra-payment scenarios; and review estimated payoff dates and interest. Recorded payments immediately reduce the tracked balance once and preserve payment history. Reconcile the result against lender statements because fees, interest, allocation, and posting can differ. Avalanche and Snowball visibly reorder debts into strategy priority. Table headers also support manual sorting by balance, APR, payment, and next due date; My Order restores your saved custom order. Optional due days are planning context only, with short months safely using the final valid day. User-confirmed progress can earn optional milestone cards for percentage milestones, debts paid off, and full completion. Choose a tone, edit the caption, control optional disclosures, preview the exact card, and open Apple’s share sheet only when you decide. Nothing posts automatically. Cards hide lender, debt name, account information, current balance, identity, and exact payoff date by default. Amount paid down is off by default. The free app supports up to two debts, avalanche calculation, recurring extra-payment exploration, per-debt timelines, progress tracking and milestone sharing, a Home Screen widget, and portable JSON backup/restore. Optional Lifetime Access is a $4.99 one-time non-consumable purchase—not a subscription—that unlocks unlimited debts, snowball comparison, scheduled and one-time scenarios, debt targeting, detailed monthly schedules, reminders, and plan export. Restore Purchases is available. All results are estimates based on manually entered values, not financial advice or guarantees. Debt-Free does not connect to banks, verify lender balances, make payments, or guarantee savings or payoff outcomes.
