The focus timer that runs when your phone is upside down. FlipTimer uses your phone's motion sensor to detect one thing: is the screen facing down? If yes, you're focusing. When you flip it back up, the session pauses. It's the most physical, intuitive focus timer ever made. You already put your phone face-down when you want to concentrate. You already know the gesture. FlipTimer just makes it count. โ HOW IT WORKS โ 1. Set your target time (or leave it on free run) 2. Flip your phone face-down on your desk 3. FlipTimer starts automatically โ screen dims to black 4. Lift your phone when you're done or need a break 5. Your session is logged No buttons to press during a session. No screen to look at. No willpower required. โ FEATURES โ ยท Auto-start: flipping face-down starts the timer immediately ยท Auto-pause: picking up the phone pauses it ยท Screen dims to black while face-down โ no light distraction ยท Ambient sounds: brown noise, rain, forest, white noise (plays while face-down) ยท Free run mode: counts up, no time limit ยท Countdown mode: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 45, 60 min or custom ยท Recovery screen: a warm "Nice session." moment when you pick up ยท Session log: every session saved with duration and time ยท Weekly chart: your total focus time per day ยท Streak counter: days in a row with at least one session ยท Apple Watch companion: start and stop from your wrist ยท Lock screen widget: streak and today's total at a glance โ DESIGNED FOR โ Deep work sessions. Homework time. Reading. Writing. Cooking. Board game turns. Anything where putting the phone down is already the goal. Parents love it for kids: "flip it when you start homework." The phone face-down is the rule and the timer in one. โ THE RECOVERY MOMENT โ When you pick up your phone after a long session, FlipTimer doesn't just show you a number. It gives you a brief, honest response: "28 minutes. Great focus." Then it gets out of the way. โ AMBIENT SOUNDS โ Choose a background sound that plays only while your phone is face-down and stops the moment you lift it. Brown noise, rain, forest sounds, or white noise โ all bundled, no streaming required. FlipTimer Pro unlocks unlimited session duration, all ambient sounds, the widget, full history, and the Apple Watch app. Privacy Policy: https://www.ybarandogan.com/projects/fliptimer/privacy Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula
Awayling

Awayling is a focus timer with a pet that grows on the time you spend away from your phone. HOW A SESSION WORKS Pick 15, 25, 45 or 60 minutes, start the session and lock your phone. Come back when the timer ends and the session counts. Your first three finished sessions each day help your pets grow and lift their mood. If you leave the app without locking the phone, the session ends. Awayling knows the phone locked only if it has a passcode. YOUR PETS Your pet hatches from an egg, then grows to young and then grown. Each pet comes in four colors: pick one when it hatches or change it any time. THE COMMONS A new egg comes at 10, 30, 60 and 100 good days, then every 50, and you pick who hatches. Every pet you raise lives in the Commons and keeps growing, and up to five stand on the Home tab. The Commons gains a pond, a tree, a bench and a lantern as good days add up, and your pets write you short letters at set counts. Grass bends in the wind, and awake pets breathe, blink and wander once they are young. About a minute after you open the Commons, touch it or scroll it, the scene settles into a still picture. With Reduce Motion on, it stays still. GOOD DAYS A day with a finished session is a good day. Good days add up and never reset. New habitats open at 3 and 7 good days. The Week tab shows each day, and you can share a weekly card with the pet in front, your finished sessions and an invite link. Awayling times focus sessions while your phone is locked. Your pets and your history are stored on your phone. A daily 8pm reminder is available and stays off until you turn it on. FREE AND KEEPER Free: the Ember species, the Commons, every egg and letter, all four colors, three habitats, 14 days of history, focus sessions, growth and sharing. Awayling Keeper is a one-time purchase. It adds Dewy and the Keeper species added later, plus two more habitats and your full history. Keeper species hatch from your next egg, like every pet.
