RelayPlay

Not every episode. The right episode. You subscribe to podcasts because they interest you. Not to manage an ever-growing queue. RelayPlay helps you keep up with current shows, catch up on series and deliberately save others for later. YOUR PACE For news, it is often the latest episode that matters. With a series, you start from a point you choose. And some shows are better saved for the weekend. Latest, Catch Up and Hold let you decide for each podcast. Together, they shape your Flow: a listening order you do not have to keep sorting yourself. Hold keeps a podcast outside your regular Flow until you choose to listen to it. With Latest, AutoSkip replaces older, unprotected episodes in your active Flow with new ones. Episodes you have already listened to long enough remain protected. AutoSkip does not skip ads, intros, silence or chapters. MOMENTS THAT LAST A book title, a podcast recommendation or an interesting website: save the passage as a Moment. The short audio clip and an available transcript help you find it again later. When enabled, Intelligent Moments can identify mentioned books, music, podcasts, apps, websites and discount codes. Analysis takes place on your device and is a beta feature: results may be missing or inaccurate. Availability and transcription depend on your device, system features and permissions. DISCOVER PODCASTS WITH CHATGPT With the optional ChatGPT integration, you can ask about podcasts and prepare a selection for RelayPlay. You review what gets added. The integration does not control playback. INDIE SPOTLIGHT Indie Spotlight introduces independent podcasts: handpicked, without paid placements or rankings. LISTEN ANYWHERE Downloads and Travel Mode prepare episodes for your journey. You can listen to fully downloaded episodes offline. Use RelayPlay on iPhone and iPad, and CarPlay in the car. On iPhone Duo, an adaptive layout includes a compact landscape player in Table Mode. VoiceOver, larger text and Voice Control support accessible use. YOU DECIDE Optional Relay Sync syncs subscriptions and listening progress through your personal iCloud account. ChatGPT is separate. Sharing your Flow and Moments is optional, with individual permissions for each. Only with the relevant permission is a server copy of that context made available. For Moments, it can include available excerpt transcripts, summaries and findings, but no Moment audio files. You do not need a RelayPlay account. You need ChatGPT to use the optional ChatGPT integration. Less managing. More listening.
