DozTimer
Read full descriptionHide full description
The Dozenal Suite is a set of five apps for dozenalists! They run on Appleβs mobiles (with iOS 18 or later). On any timing device, the day is divided by successive powers of 12, providing metric time reckoning based on twelves rather than tens. The leftmost digit changes every 2 hours (1/12 day), the next digit every 10 minutes, the next every 50 seconds. If displayed, the fourth digit changes every 4 1/6 seconds and the fifth digit every 25/72 second. In the dozenal number base, because the number 10 is one dozen, numerals ten and eleven must be single digits. They are represented by the symbols invented long ago by Isaac Pitman: rotated 2 for ten, and rotated 3 for eleven. Those are used by the two major dozenal societies, the Dozenal Society of America and the Dozenal Society of Great Britain. In the plain text below, ten is designated by the letter A, and eleven by the letter B. The timer app may be set for any time between dozenal 000.01 and BBB.BB. It counts down by the last digit, the Primel metrology's twinkling.
Magnetick

Magnetick turns your iPhone into a precision magnetic field meter. If you've ever wondered whether your watch, tools, or jewelry have become magnetized, Magnetick gives you a clear, glanceable answer in seconds. Hold your iPhone near any object and Magnetick reads the surrounding magnetic field in microtesla (ΞΌT) using your device's built-in magnetometer β the same sensor your compass uses, but exposed in a way you can actually read and interpret. KEY FEATURES β’ Live magnetic field reading β a single, easy-to-read number, updated in real time β’ Guided mode β Magnetick stabilizes its baseline, then tells you plainly when something nearby is affecting the field β’ Real-time chart β watch how the field changes as you move your phone around an object β’ Built-in sensor map β Magnetick knows where the magnetometer chip sits inside your specific iPhone model, so you can hold the right part of the phone close to what you're testing β’ Beautiful dark interface designed to be readable at a glance WHO IT'S FOR β’ Watch owners checking whether their mechanical watch has been magnetized (a common cause of timekeeping errors) HOW TO USE 1. Open Magnetick and let the reading stabilize for a few seconds 2. Slowly move your iPhone close to the object you want to test 3. Watch the number β a sharp rise means the object is generating or carrying a magnetic field PRIVACY Magnetick reads only the magnetometer sensor and runs entirely on your device. No data is collected, transmitted, or stored. No accounts, no ads, no tracking.

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Magnetick at 15.1 against DozTimer's 18.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
