Most peptide apps are reminders with a calculator stapled on. You're running BPC-157, CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, maybe retatrutide, maybe TRT alongside it. Real vials, real money. And the best record of it is a Notes app you forgot to update or a spreadsheet that lost your reconstitution dates. COMPOUND is the protocol intelligence layer for serious operators. Built on published pharmacology and cited research. Not a timer. Not a generic medication app. The instrument your protocol deserves. STACK ANALYSIS* Enter your full protocol: BPC-157, TB-500, CJC-1295, Ipamorelin, GHK-Cu, tesamorelin, retatrutide, semaglutide, tirzepatide, testosterone. COMPOUND's AI-assisted analysis flags interaction patterns, timing overlaps, redundant pathways, and absorption issues, each one cited to peer-reviewed research. Two compounds hitting the same pathway is a wasted vial; you will see it. It reports what it finds. It does not write your protocol. SIDE-EFFECT CORRELATION* Log quick daily check-ins. COMPOUND maps every symptom against your dose timeline and surfaces the patterns you would not find by hand. Insomnia lining up with evening CJC. Nausea tracking a titration step. Mood dips that follow estradiol troughs. BLOODWORK SCANNER* Photograph or import any lab report. COMPOUND extracts every marker (free T, total T, estradiol, IGF-1, CRP, AST/ALT, A1C, lipids, hematocrit) and plots them on your protocol timeline. Told you're "in range" while the symptoms stay? Bring the trend to your next appointment, not the single number. RECONSTITUTION CALCULATOR Stepped input or plain language*: "10mg vial, 250mcg twice daily." Exact syringe units, vial duration, expiry tracking. Unit conversion for the amount you choose; it does not pick your dose. No mental math at 6am. STACK PHARMACOKINETICS* Your whole protocol on one estimated serum concentration curve, built from published half-lives and your own log. Drag a dose time and watch coverage shift across the day. Cycle calendar, cross-cycle comparison, restart readiness check. 90+ COMPOUND REFERENCE LIBRARY Half-life, mechanism of action, regulatory status, protocol patterns reported in the literature, known interactions, and the key studies with PubMed links. 250+ cited studies. Written for people who read the papers. PROTOCOL CHAT* Ask anything about your own stack. Every answer is grounded in your protocol, your symptom log, your bloodwork, and cited research, not a generic chatbot that does not know what you are running. It shows you the evidence; it does not prescribe. ALSO INCLUDED - Dose logging with injection site rotation and timing analysis - Vial inventory and supply alerts* - Symptom journal with pattern detection - Unlimited protocols, reminders, home screen widget - Apple Health sync: sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, workouts, weight, glucose WHO COMPOUND IS FOR - People running multi-compound peptide protocols - TRT users tired of a single number standing in for how they feel - Reta and tirzepatide users who want more than a shot tracker - Anyone who refuses to guess with vials that cost real money - Researchers who already built the spreadsheet and want it on their phone, smarter PRIVACY Anonymous sign-in. No ad-tech. No tracking SDKs. No data resale. IMPORTANT COMPOUND is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, and it does not prescribe, recommend, or adjust doses. All analysis is informational, based on published pharmacological research. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting or modifying any protocol or medication. * Requires COMPOUND PRO subscription. Free to start. Pepmunk is a tracker for the peptides you run. Your protocols, doses, vials, injection sites, side effects, and weight stay in one place on your device. Keep one clean record instead of a spreadsheet and a pile of scattered notes. Pepmunk is a tracking and record-keeping tool. It does not provide medical advice. Using Pepmunk requires a paid subscription. Plans and any introductory offer are shown in the app before you subscribe. Cancel anytime. FEATURES Protocols & Schedules Set up a protocol for each compound with its dose, route, and schedule, including titration steps that raise or lower the dose over time. Pepmunk uses it to prefill your logs and drive your reminders. Dose Reminders Optional local reminders tell you when a dose is due, based on each protocol's schedule. Dose Logging Log a dose in a few taps and backdate anything you forgot. Note the injection site and add a comment on how it went. Your log is the honest history behind every trend. Vial & Inventory Tracking Track each vial from sealed powder to reconstituted, with the date you mixed it. A shelf-life countdown tells you when a mixed vial should be discarded, so you always know what is still good to use. Injection Site Log Record the site for each injection and review your recent sites, so you can rotate and avoid overusing one spot. Side Effects Log side effects with a severity rating and build a history you can look back on. Pick from a common list, including nausea, fatigue, and appetite changes, or add your own. Weight & Trends Track your weight over time and see it as a trend next to your doses and side effects. Handy for following progress on a GLP-1 protocol. Compound Level Estimator For compounds with a known half-life, Pepmunk estimates how much is still active and where you sit in your dosing window, based on the doses you logged. HEALTH DISCLAIMER Pepmunk is for tracking and personal record-keeping only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Talk to a qualified healthcare provider about any medical decision or health concern. Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: COMPOUND at free with in-app purchases against Pepmunk's subscription. Pepmunk's advantage is ratings volume (43 vs 4). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. COMPOUND sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Pepmunk sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for COMPOUND against 4.9 for Pepmunk. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pepmunk has 43 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
