About

Thermal Camera

Features

Thermal FX turns your camera into three effects: a heat-map thermal look, an x-ray look, and a ghost detector. Point the phone, pick a palette, capture. FIRST, THE HONEST PART iPhone has no infrared sensor. Thermal FX re-colours the ordinary camera image by brightness, which is what every app on this list actually does. It is a look, not a measurement. It reports no temperatures, and it cannot see through walls, objects or clothing. Real thermography needs a FLIR or Seek attachment. What this app gives you is the look, done properly. THERMAL A real false-colour heat map driven by the brightness of the live frame, with auto-levelling so the picture keeps its range as the light changes. Six palettes: Iron, Rainbow, Arctic, Lava, White Hot, Black Hot. X-RAY A stylised x-ray treatment with optional bone overlays — hand, ribs, skull — for jokes and party photos. GHOST A detector-style overlay whose signal meter is wired to two real inputs: motion in the frame and sound level from the microphone. The meter moves for real reasons. What it means is entertainment, not evidence. SPIRIT BOX A radio-sweep sound effect inside Ghost mode: static, the click of channels changing, and every so often a word — spoken by the phone's own voice from a fixed list, pushed through pitch and reverb so it sounds like it came from somewhere else. Nothing is received: an iPhone has no radio, and no app can add one. The rhythm follows the ghost meter and the microphone, so it moves for real reasons. What the words mean is entertainment, not a message. EVERYTHING ELSE • Intensity slider on every mode • Pinch to zoom, front and back cameras, torch • Photos and video with sound, saved to your library • A capture gallery inside the app • 1080p, portrait, rendered on the GPU PRIVACY Frames and audio are processed on your device and never uploaded. Nothing is saved unless you tap capture. The app sends usage statistics that are not linked to you — which modes get opened, whether a purchase completes — to learn what works. They never include your images or audio, and there are no accounts and no ad tracking. THERMAL FX PRO Free: Thermal mode, Iron and White Hot palettes, photos with a small watermark. Pro unlocks all three modes, all six palettes, video recording, and removes the watermark. Available as a weekly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account settings. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Terms: https://thermal.slumbiapp.com/terms Privacy: https://thermal.slumbiapp.com/privacy
