Still getting stuck on the same four bars? Slow them down, practice one hand at a time, and review your playing with MIDI feedback. BetterMuse brings sheet music, MIDI feedback and technique drills into your piano practice. Built for pianists who already read music, it helps you work on your pieces independently or between lessons. Add a score and start practicing right away: there is no course to complete first. CHOOSE YOUR MUSIC Browse the score library, preview the notation and listen before adding a piece. You can also import MusicXML, MXL, MIDI and PDF files, with support for adding multiple files at once. WORK ON THE DIFFICULT BARS Select a passage, slow it down and repeat it. Practice one hand at a time before putting both together. Keep your attention on the section that needs work. SEE WHERE YOUR PLAYING MISSES THE SCORE Connect a compatible MIDI piano or keyboard to review matched and missed notes on supported scores. Feedback stays attached to the notation, so you can return to the measures that need another attempt. READ REAL NOTATION EVERYWHERE Every part of BetterMuse is written out as sheet music: your pieces, the scales, chords and patterns you drill, and even ear training, where the notation is the answer. Build reading into your everyday practice, alongside technique and listening. BUILD THE TECHNIQUE BEHIND YOUR PLAYING Practice scales, chords, patterns and ear training across keys. Keep technique work alongside your repertoire. PICK UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF Keep markings, practice history and progress with your music. Organize scores and drills into setlists. Assign individual items or whole setlists to practice days and see what you planned to work on. TRY IT WITH YOUR NEXT PIECE Browse and listen for free. Practice your first added score and your first saved custom drill without a subscription. Guided Key Mastery drills are included too. You can also create and practice unsaved drills. BetterMuse Pro unlocks practice with additional scores and additional saved custom drills while subscribed. Monthly and annual plans are available. Eligible annual subscribers receive a seven-day trial. Designed for iPhone and iPad. Note-level feedback requires compatible notation and supported input; use a MIDI connection for assessment of your piano playing. PDF practice supports reading, annotation, time tracking and completion, without note-level grading. BetterMuse does not assess posture or acoustic tone.
