Stemly Live Multitrack
Read full descriptionHide full description
Stemly is a multitrack audio player built for live performance โ for bands, choirs, DJs and solo artists playing to backing tracks and showing lyrics. PLAY YOUR STEMS LIVE Load multichannel audio and route every track to its own output โ vocals, click, guide, instruments. Works with any USB audio interface, and without one in Headphone Stereo mode. BUILT-IN EQ ON EVERY CHANNEL A four-band equalizer on every output channel โ tap EQ on a fader and drag the four points on the curve. A linked stereo pair shares one EQ, and settings are saved with each song. On headphones and 2-channel outputs the EQ works on outputs 1+2, so you always hear it. JUKEBOX FOR BREAKS A separate offline player with its own queue and playlists, loop and crossfade. Loop any section of a track by marking it on the waveform. Jukebox is locked while a show song is playing, so it can never start over your performance. LYRICS, MATCHED AUTOMATICALLY Lyrics are matched to songs with the same title โ the right lyrics appear the moment you pick a song, even without loading backing tracks. You can use lyrics display and sharing on their own, without the player. Send lyrics over Wi-Fi to any phone, tablet or laptop on stage โ no app to install, just scan a QR code. CONTROL FROM ANYWHERE Connect the free Stemly Remote app and run your setlist from the other side of the stage โ ideal when the iPad is out of reach. (A 5G router is recommended.) BUILT FOR THE STAGE, NOT THE STUDIO One-tap mixer, volume remembered per song, a song queue with position numbers, protected STOP/PLAY, and a clear interface designed for stage lighting โ even at 2 a.m. after soundcheck. One-time purchase. Works on all your Apple devices signed in with the same Apple ID โ iPhone, iPad and Mac.
StrumTune

StrumTune tunes your guitar, bass, ukulele and more โ accurately, and completely free. No ads. No subscriptions. No accounts. Nothing is collected, and the app never connects to the internet. TUNE ANY STRING Play a string and StrumTune names it, shows how far off you are in cents, and turns green the moment it lands. The needle settles quickly, so you spend less time watching the screen and more time playing. CHROMATIC MODE Not every note is an open string. With a capo on, on a fretted note, or with an instrument that has no preset, chromatic mode reads any of the twelve semitones instead of forcing your note onto the nearest string. MANUAL MODE Prefer to tune by ear? Tap a string to hear a clean reference tone and match it. Works even without microphone access. 9 INSTRUMENTS, 25 TUNINGS Guitar (Standard, Drop D, Drop C, Half Step Down, Full Step Down, Open G, Open D, Open E, Open C, DADGAD), 7-string guitar, bass, 5-string bass, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, violin and cello. YOUR OWN TUNINGS Set any note on any string, save it under a name, and it is waiting for you next time. Edit or delete it whenever you like. BUILT-IN METRONOME 30 to 240 BPM, time signatures 2/4, 3/4, 4/4 and 6/8, tap tempo and an accented downbeat. The click is scheduled sample-accurately, so the tempo never drifts. MADE FOR PLAYERS - Left-handed mode mirrors the fretboard - Reference pitch adjustable from 430 to 450 Hz for orchestras and period instruments - Note names as C D E or Do Re Mi - The screen stays awake while you tune - Your instrument and tuning are remembered between sessions Everything listed above is included. There is no paid tier and nothing to unlock.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: StrumTune at none against Stemly Live Multitrack's 1. Stemly Live Multitrack's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
