Quix Chat vs NoNet Chat

Quix Chat — A Private, Safe Chat App With No Phone Number Required Quix Chat is built for people who want to connect without exposing their phone number. No one can message you just because they have your number. You connect only by consent, and you stay in control of every conversation. PRIVACY FIRST, ALWAYS Most messaging apps are built around your phone number — anyone who has it can find and message you. Quix Chat does not use phone numbers at all. You sign in with just your email and a one-time passcode, and that email is used only for sign-in: never visible, never searchable, never shared. You decide who can reach you, every time. END-TO-END ENCRYPTED DIRECT CHATS Your one-to-one messages, photos, and voice notes are end-to-end encrypted on your device, so no one in between can read them. Group and Room messages are secured in transit and at rest, and the app tells you clearly which kind of chat you are in. CONNECT WITHOUT EXCHANGING PHONE NUMBERS Selling something online? Meeting someone new? Instead of trading phone numbers, connect through Quix Chat. • Share a one-time Quix Chat number with someone you do not fully trust yet • Share your permanent Quix Chat number with people you know and trust • Pair instantly by QR code or invite link • Both people must agree before you connect • Deleted contacts need mutual approval to reconnect Your phone number is never part of the exchange. A DIFFERENT PROFILE FOR EVERY GROUP Use a different display name and profile in each group, so you decide exactly what you share in each space. Ideal for communities, buy-and-sell groups, teams, and private discussions. GROUPS & ROOMS FOR REAL LIFE Organize conversations the way real teams work. Create a group for your community or organization, then split it into Rooms (for example Marketing, HR, or Projects). Rooms can be public or private within a group. Run polls, pin announcements, and keep every topic in its own space. STATION — YOUR OWN BROADCAST CHANNEL Create a Station to post updates and announcements to everyone who follows you, without group chat back-and-forth. • Share short video posts that automatically expire after a few days, keeping your Station current • Followers and subscribers see your posts in one place, separate from their regular chats • Great for businesses, public figures, and brands who want to broadcast rather than chat one-on-one GLOBAL CHAT — JOIN A LIVE PUBLIC ROOM Drop into open, topic-based chat rooms and talk in real time, no pairing or contacts required. • Join public rooms by topic and chat instantly • Messages are ephemeral: they are relayed live and are not stored on our servers • Leave anytime; nothing lingers after the conversation ends A FULL COMMUNICATION SUITE — ALL INSIDE QUIX CHAT • 1-on-1 chat, group chat, and room-based chat • Voice and video calls, one-to-one and in groups • Video broadcast to groups and rooms • Photos, voice messages, and stickers • Schedule a message to send later EXTRA LAYERS OF PRIVACY • Secret Vault: keep private photos and videos behind a PIN • Lock any individual chat with a PIN • Send photos as one-time view • Screenshot protection on sensitive messages CLEAN, CONTROLLED CONVERSATIONS • Delete chat history anytime • Remove a contact and clear the history together • Block or report anyone, at any time • No lingering data, no unwanted access NO SPAM. NO COLD MESSAGES. NO SURPRISES. Quix Chat blocks unsolicited messages by design. No one can reach you without your consent. Available in 15 languages. Because privacy isn't a feature — it's the foundation. Your conversations should belong to you. Download Quix Chat and keep your phone number to yourself.

NoNet Chat lets you talk to the people around you when the internet can't. No internet. No servers. No accounts. No phone numbers. Open the app, pick a nickname, and start chatting with everyone nearby — your messages travel directly between phones over Bluetooth and hop across other devices to reach farther. WHY NONET CHAT • Works where networks fail: flights, festivals, deserts, camping, crowded events, emergencies • Nothing to sign up for: no account, no SIM, no data plan — it even works in Airplane Mode with Bluetooth on • Private by design: the app never touches the internet, so there is nothing to collect FEATURES • Nearby Chat: a public room with everyone around you • Private messages: end-to-end encrypted (X25519 + AES-256-GCM) • Voice notes: record and send over the mesh • Delivery ticks: see when your private messages arrive • Store & forward: messages wait for people who are out of range and deliver when they return • Mesh relay: phones in between quietly extend everyone's range, up to 7 hops • Notifications when messages arrive in the background • Full Arabic and English, light and dark appearance NONET PRO (optional one-time purchase — no subscriptions) • Alternate app icons and chat bubble colors • Export any conversation as text The chat itself is free forever: more people on the mesh makes it better for everyone. PRIVACY NoNet Chat collects nothing. Messages are stored only on your device, and your encryption keys never leave it. Read the privacy policy for the plain-language details. Requires Bluetooth. Range depends on surroundings — typically 10–50 meters per hop, extended by relays.
