Private dictation that never leaves your iPhone. KeySay is a voice keyboard that turns speech into text entirely on your device. Your voice is never uploaded, never stored on a server, and never used to train anyone's AI. There's no account to create and nothing to sign in to. 100% ON-DEVICE • Speech recognition runs locally, using the open-source Whisper speech model. • Dictation works with no internet connection. Try it in Airplane Mode. • No servers, no analytics, no tracking, no ads. We don't collect your data because we never receive it. DICTATE INTO ANY APP Switch to the KeySay keyboard in Messages, Mail, Notes, or anywhere you type. Tap the mic, speak, and your words appear. • Custom vocabulary: teach KeySay names, product terms, and jargon. • Your own fixes: tell KeySay which words it tends to mishear and what you meant. • Smart cleanup: on iPhones with Apple Intelligence, Apple's on-device model fixes misheard words and removes filler words. This runs locally too, never in the cloud. • A full keyboard when you need one: switch between a voice-only layout and a QWERTY keyboard with on-device autocorrect, emoji search, and a trackpad space bar. ABOUT "ALLOW FULL ACCESS" iOS doesn't let keyboards use the microphone, so the KeySay app does the listening and passes your text to the keyboard. That hand-off requires Full Access. When you turn it on, iOS shows the same generic warning it shows for every keyboard. KeySay has no servers to send anything to: your words go from the KeySay app to the KeySay keyboard and nowhere else. PAY ONCE, KEEP FOREVER KeySay is free to use with a daily dictation allowance. One purchase unlocks unlimited dictation forever. No subscriptions. Questions? Visit keysay.app

About

Klartext

Features

Speak instead of typing: tap the mic, talk — polished text lands in any app, in your language. Everything happens on your iPhone: recognition runs on Apple's large speech model right on the device, and AI cleanup removes filler words and slips and sets clean punctuation — powered by Apple Intelligence, right on your iPhone. No account, no server, no tracking: by default, your dictation goes nowhere. For mixed languages and technical vocabulary there's optional cloud recognition with your own key; for cleanup without Apple Intelligence, an online model through your own account with the provider — both clearly labeled, both optional. The Klartext keyboard is deliberately not a second typing keyboard — it's a lean dictation panel: a big mic, space, delete, return, and (with AI cleanup active) your mode right on the keyboard: Message · Email · Note · AI prompt · your own modes. DICTATION THAT DOESN'T CUT OFF Unlike built-in dictation, recording keeps running when you switch apps: the keyboard is just the display, the mic lives in the main app. Look something up, switch apps, come back, tap stop — the text is in your field. And no word gets lost: recordings stay on your device for up to 24 hours — listen again or re-transcribe. Can be turned off. WHY KLARTEXT • Everything on device: recognition and cleanup run locally — on a plane, in a dead zone, in the basement • Private by design: no account, no server, no tracking — by default, your dictation never leaves your iPhone • Recognition that learns: correct a word once and your spelling sticks — dictionary and replacements included • Custom modes: create up to three of your own, each with a line on format and tone — requests like "no emojis" or "all lowercase" work right on the device; pick them on the keyboard, and built-in modes can be renamed (with AI cleanup) • Great for AI prompts: dictate instructions for ChatGPT, Claude, or coding agents — technical terms stay exactly as you said them • Read-aloud as a bonus: Klartext reads copied text aloud, even with the screen locked — pick your voice, optionally OpenAI voices via your own key (clearly labeled) • Widgets and stats: words today and weekly overview • Built in Germany, perfected for German — and takes dictation in many languages • The app is now available in 16 languages FAIRLY PRICED Every week, 2,500 dictated words are free — permanently, no account needed. Only delivered dictations count; read-aloud, history and dictionary never do. If you dictate more, get Klartext Unlimited: one yearly subscription, one price, cancel anytime — no other tiers. The price is shown in the app and applies to your region. The subscription pays for development — there is no Klartext server. If you first downloaded Klartext before version 2.0, you keep everything unlimited, no subscription. WHAT YOUR IPHONE NEEDS Dictation works on any iPhone running iOS 26. On-device AI cleanup needs Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro and newer) — otherwise an online model through your own account can take over, if you like.
