The replies you send over and over live on a keyboard of their own, inside any app. The slow part was never writing them β€” it was copying their name and order number out of each message by hand. Snippet reads those out for you. ON EVERY DEVICE Write a reply on your Mac and it is on your phone before you pick it up. Your snippets, your categories, and your colors sync through your own iCloud account. No sign-up, no separate subscription, and nothing to restore by hand on a new device. THE KEYBOARD Save a reply once. Then, in Messages, Mail, WhatsApp, or anywhere else, switch to the Snippet keyboard and tap it in. No app switching, no copy and paste, and no losing your place in the conversation. SMART FILL Select the message you just received, tap Share β–Έ Snippet, and pick one of your templates. Snippet reads that message and fills every {{field}} in your reply from it β€” the name, the date, the order number, the address. It never makes anything up. A value is used only if it actually appears in the message you selected; anything Snippet cannot find is left blank for you to complete. The message is held for that moment only and is never saved. In practice: their message says "this is Maya Levi, my order is #4471". You pick your shipping-update template, and the reply comes back with the name and the order number already in it, ready to send. Clients, customers, candidates, bookings: the same handful of questions, all day. CATEGORIES, ASSIGNED FOR YOU Other snippet apps hand you empty folders. Snippet reads each new snippet as you save it and files it into a colored category on its own, on your device. A genuinely new topic goes to "Other" instead of being forced into the wrong place. Nothing is uploaded, and it works offline. ON YOUR MAC Grab selected text from any app with a keyboard shortcut, and paste a snippet straight back. EVERYTHING ELSE β€’ Pin the snippets you reach for most, and they sit at the top of the keyboard β€’ Write {{date}} or {{time}} in a snippet and it fills itself in when you use it β€’ Share extension β€” save selected text as a snippet, or run Smart Fill on it β€’ Instant search in any language, ignoring case and accents β€’ Categories you can rename and merge β€’ Title and tag suggestions while you write β€’ Lock a category behind Face ID or Touch ID, so what is in it stays private FREE, WITH A ONE-TIME PRO UPGRADE The keyboard, iCloud sync, automatic categorization, search, capture, and the Share extension are free. Pro adds Smart Fill, category encryption, and unlimited snippets β€” one purchase, not a subscription, covering Mac and iPhone together. Snippet has no advertising and no analytics. The automatic categorization, Smart Fill, and title suggestions run on Apple Intelligence and need a supported device on iOS 26 or macOS 26. Everything else works on iOS 17 and macOS 14 or later: the keyboard, sync, search, capture and encryption.

You don’t need to learn all of Markdown. # at the start of a line makes a heading, - makes a bullet, and / opens a menu of tables, checklists and diagrams. Those three are all you need to keep notes that read far better than a plain notes app. What you type takes shape where you typed it, so there is no preview pane to switch to. No Google account is required β€” the app works with this device alone. Sign in and your notes are kept in your own Google Drive, becoming a private notebook you can pick up from Windows, Mac, iPad, iPhone or the browser. β–  Open what AI writes Ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or another AI to summarize something in Markdown, then open it here as is β€” it reads cleanly and stays editable. It's a plain Markdown file, so you can paste it back into an AI to keep going, or drop it straight into Notion or GitHub without reformatting. β–  Ask AI (with your own API key) Add an API key for OpenAI (GPT), Anthropic (Claude) or Google (Gemini) and you can ask AI from inside the app. Β· On selected text β€” polish, shorten, make formal, translate, turn into a table or a diagram Β· From the whole note β€” meeting notes & to-dos, summarize, extract to-dos, tidy into Markdown, continue writing Β· In your own words β€” have it draft a how-to or a first version Check the answer before it goes into your note, and undo it in one step. Usage is billed by the service you choose, and your key stays on this device. β–  What people use it for Β· A notepad that reads better β€” jot things down and they turn into tidy headings and bullet points. As light as a plain text editor, far easier to read back Β· Meeting notes β€” organize the discussion as it happens and put decisions in a table Β· To-do lists and tasks β€” list what needs doing as a checklist and tick items off Β· Journal, diary and daily log β€” keep a note per day and find anything later with full-text search Β· A personal wiki β€” link notes to one another and build a notebook of what you know Β· Docs, how-tos and blog drafts β€” outline with headings, then paste the plain Markdown anywhere Β· A Markdown viewer β€” open an .md file and read it with its tables and headings in place Β· Code and command snippets β€” kept with syntax highlighting, copied in one click β–  Features Β· Styling as you type β€” headings, bold, italic, quotes, rules, footnotes and nested lists are formatted the moment you write them Β· Type / at the start of a line to insert tables, checklists, diagrams, math and more Β· Tables render as tables β€” click one to go back to the raw Markdown and edit it Β· Diagrams (flowcharts, sequence diagrams and more) from mermaid syntax, and math from TeX, drawn inline Β· Collapsible sections (details) and clickable checkboxes Β· Code blocks with syntax highlighting and a one-click copy button Β· Images and file attachments, with PDFs opening right in the app Β· Paste a URL and get a link preview card Β· Full-text search across all your notes Β· Six themes (Light, Sepia, Solar, Dark, Night, Contrast) and three text sizes Β· Available in 12 languages β–  Choose where your notes live Β· Google Drive β€” saved automatically, with no save button. Your Drive folders stay as they are, and shared drives and multiple Google accounts are supported Β· On this device β€” no sign-in needed. On Mac and Windows you can also open any folder you already have Β· In Google Drive, the app only touches files it created and files you explicitly open β–  About usage Β· Free to use.
