Darkness is an echolocation horror game — a dark maze / labyrinth survival where sound is your only light. You wake up inside a pitch-black maze with no flashlight and no map. To navigate, you clap and send sound waves (echo waves) through the darkness. For a brief moment the wave reveals walls, corridors, rooms, traps, pits, collectibles, and the direction to the exit — then everything fades back into black. But this is not just a maze game. Every step makes noise. Every jump makes even more noise. And enemies can hear you. If you like horror games, scary games, survival horror, stealth games, maze puzzles, and escape challenges — Darkness is built around one simple idea: you can only “see” by sound. KEY FEATURES - Echolocation gameplay: clap to scan and reveal the world with sound waves - Horror + stealth + survival: stay quiet, route carefully, escape the chase - Maze / labyrinth exploration: corridors, rooms, dead ends, and hidden paths - Procedural generation: randomized levels and floors for replayability - Simple controls: joystick movement, clap scan, jump for a bigger wave - Multiple game modes for short sessions: - ROOMS: clear levels, explore rooms, collect hidden diamonds - LABYRINTH: go deeper floor by floor and find the exit - DAILY: a new seeded daily maze challenge - HUNT: survive the hunt with limited lives and a countdown timer - Offline game: play without internet HOW TO PLAY (QUICK TIPS) - Clap before corners and intersections to avoid dead ends - Walk slowly when enemies are near — footsteps give you away - Use jump when you’re lost: it creates a stronger wave and reveals more FAQ Is this an offline game? Yes. Is it a horror puzzle / maze game? Yes — it’s a horror maze with stealth and survival elements. Is it scary? It’s atmospheric, tense, and focused on sound-based fear.
