Lift weights. Slay monsters. Get stronger for real. Menos is a serious strength trainer disguised as a pixel-art dungeon crawler. Every exercise is a monster, every set you log is a hit, and your heaviest lifts are boss fights. Under the game, a progression engine tells you exactly what to lift next. Free to download, free to train. Menos Pro and Ultimate are optional upgrades: more history, bigger parties, extras. — EVERY SET IS A FIGHT — • Log a set and your hero swings. Top of your rep range: you sidestep the counter. On target: it only grazes you. Miss: it counters hard. • After each set a report card shows weight vs target, reps vs range and whether it counts toward your next increase. — A PLAN TAILOR-MADE FOR YOU — • Tell Menos your goal, experience, equipment, days per week and injuries, and it builds your split for a full gym, home gym or bodyweight. • Automatic progressive overload: hit your reps and the weight goes up. Stall and Menos holds, then backs off, with a planned deload each block. — THE LIFTING TOOLS, FREE — • Offline mode: log a workout with no signal and it syncs when you're back online. • Plate and warm-up calculators, and strength charts with PRs marked. • Export every set to CSV, including history your plan doesn't show. • Switching from another lifting app? Import your history, PRs and starting weights from a CSV. — STAY ON TRACK — • Weekly streak goal: pick 1 to 7 lifting days a week and fill your ring. • Reward chests: finish a workout and a chest opens. The rules are in the app; nothing is random. • A season raid boss your sets chip away at, and a weekly report. • Training Insights: sets per muscle for free; Pro and Ultimate add balance, trends and stalled lifts. • Achievements: titles, looks and badges for Pro and Ultimate. • Just want the numbers? Turn off Dungeon Mode for Logging Mode, a clean dashboard. — LIFT WITH FRIENDS — • Co-op: run the same dungeon together live and watch each other's sets land. Joining any party is free; hosting is 2 seats free, 6 with Pro, 12 with Ultimate. • Duels: head-to-head, pound-for-pound. 1v1 is free; Pro and Ultimate host duels of up to 4. • Guilds and tournaments: join a friend's guild or bracket, free. • The Hall of Lifters: opt in and climb the leaderboard. • Bring two friends who train and you earn 3 months of Menos Pro. — LEVEL UP — • Pick a class: Warrior, Berserker, Ranger or Adventurer. • Earn XP for every set, break PRs, keep your streak, and get a grade for every run. • Cosmetics shop: hero skins and weapon finishes, bought once, on any plan. Looks only, never training or XP. — FREE, PRO AND ULTIMATE — FREE: the full game, 30 days of history, a party of 2. PRO: 1 year of history; parties of 6 and duels of 4; hosting guilds and tournaments; goal bosses; looks and all four heroes; achievements; full Training Insights; Body Log, hero icons and widgets; Lock Screen and Dynamic Island rest timer; Apple Watch logging, standalone with no phone; Apple Health. ULTIMATE: everything in Pro, plus all your history, parties of 12 and the Season Vault with new looks every month. Pro and Ultimate are auto-renewing subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly, with a free trial on annual plans for eligible new subscribers. Menos Pro is also sold as one payment with no end date. The price shows in the app before you buy. Party bonus XP grows with party size; anyone can join any party for free. Accounts created before 3.0 keep Ultimate with no end date. Subscriptions are charged to your Apple ID at confirmation, or when a free trial ends, and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Pushmaxx at 5.0 against Menos Gym's 4.8. Pushmaxx also leads on iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). Menos Gym's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Menos Gym sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and Pushmaxx sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Pushmaxx holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Menos Gym has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
Menos Gym ships an update weekly, Pushmaxx every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
