StepDial

Put your step entries in time. StepDial helps you enter steps in Apple Health and arrange them across a chosen time interval. Add missed entries now, or set a timer that saves entries as time passes. Counts are entered by you; cadence and pauses are estimates based on your settings, not measurements of physical movement. YOUR DAY AT A GLANCE See the total Apple Health shares with StepDial, plus separate totals for steps added today and overall. These figures are shown separately, without counting your entries twice. ADD YOUR WAY Enter 1–100,000 steps. Use +500, +1,000, +2,000, +3,000 or +5,000 shortcuts, type a count, or adjust by 100. Choose Walk, Brisk walk or Run, then adjust speed and mood. Preview the estimated cadence and sample times before saving. SET YOUR RHYTHM Start a timer with natural pauses or choose a finish time. The plan adjusts its rhythm to your target and deadline. The moving rhythm display follows the session, including rests and saved progress. iOS may pause background work; writes can be delayed and catch up when execution and Health access resume. Continuous background delivery is not guaranteed. KEEP CONTROL End a timer early and keep saved steps. Undo individual sessions in History. Undo today removes only today’s StepDial entries, preserving other dates and sources. Rewrite today restores counts and times previously confirmed as saved in local history, including undone entries, without duplicates. End an active timer before either daily action. FREE USE AND STEPDIAL PLUS Add and Timer share three free sessions per device per local day. After that, each completed rewarded ad unlocks one more session, with no daily limit on repeats. Each new Undo today or Rewrite today action requires its own rewarded ad for free users, even if free sessions remain. An unavailable or unfinished ad does not start the action. An interrupted, authorized daily action can resume without a second ad. The free version includes banner, app-open, interstitial and rewarded ads. StepDial Plus removes all four formats, allows unlimited sessions and makes daily actions ad-free. Choose monthly or yearly auto-renewing plans. Taiwan prices: NT$90/month or NT$720/year. No free trial. Apple shows the price for your region before purchase. Payment is charged on confirmation; renewal is automatic unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in Apple Account subscriptions. Restore purchases in StepDial Settings. YOUR RECORDS, YOUR DEVICE No account required. Step records stay on your device and in Apple Health and are not sent to Google or used for ad targeting. Optional usage analytics is off by default. Google’s ad SDK may process device and advertising information; available privacy choices are in Settings. New Health samples identify StepDial as the source and include start/end times and the device running the app. Other apps decide whether to use these entries. Designed for iPhone and iPad. English, Korean, Japanese and Traditional Chinese. Requires iOS/iPadOS 26 or later. Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: StepDial at daily against Pedometer's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
