AUTOMATICALLY CREATE ALBUMS FROM YOUR PHOTO LIBRARY PicFile scans your photos and creates real iOS albums โ automatically. Point it at your library, and it sorts thousands of photos into organized category albums using a proprietary 10-stage on-device AI pipeline. No cloud uploads. Everything happens on your device. This is NOT just another photo viewer or filter app. PicFile physically creates and populates albums in your Photos app via PhotoKit โ landscapes, food, receipts, documents, people, pets, and 13 categories total. HOW IT WORKS โ 10-STAGE CLASSIFICATION PIPELINE Each photo passes through 10 sequential analysis stages: 1. QR/Barcode detection 2. Screenshot identification (metadata-based) 3. Face detection 4. Animal recognition 5. OCR text analysis (adaptive density threshold) 6. User Dictionary (learned from your corrections) 7. FeaturePrint visual similarity matching 8. Visual classification keyword mapping (200+ identifiers) 9. High-density text fallback (documents) 10. Color analysis fallback This multi-stage approach achieves higher accuracy than single-model classifiers because each stage is individually tuned for real-world photos. KEY FEATURES [7 Scan Modes] Batch scan all unsorted photos, re-scan specific categories, full library re-scan, pick individual photos, or limit by count. Each mode handles saves, cleanup, and interruptions differently. [Smart Learning โ Gets Smarter With Use] Three adaptive systems learn from your corrections: - FeaturePrint Cache: Visual pattern matching (30 vectors per category) - User Dictionary: Keyword-to-category associations from your edits - Manual Override: Remembers your intentional re-categorizations [Duplicate Detection] AI feature vectors find visually similar photos. Compare side-by-side, auto-select the best one, bulk delete to save storage. [Share Extension] Receive photos from Safari, Messages, or any app. AI classifies and saves to the right album instantly โ without opening the app. [Siri Shortcuts & Widget] "Scan my photos" or "How many unsorted?" via Siri. Home screen widget shows category breakdown with tap-to-jump. [Camera โ Instant Classification] Snap a photo with the built-in camera and it's classified immediately. [Map View] See geotagged photos plotted on a map by category. [More] - 13 built-in + custom categories - Dynamic Island progress tracking - Background scanning - Dark mode & language switching (EN/JA) - Burst photo grouping (2-second interval unification) - On-device processing (no internet required) PRIVACY All AI processing uses Apple's Vision framework on-device. Learning data is stored locally. Zero data leaves your device.
