Calotype is a simple RAW camera for photographers who want a cleaner path from lens to file. Your iPhone already has a very capable camera. It also makes a lot of decisions before you ever see the photo. Calotype keeps things quieter. On supported back cameras, Calotype saves real RAW DNG files that you can take into the editor of your choice. No accounts, no cloud library, no extra processing layer. Manual controls are built around the camera you are actually using. Shutter speed follows the sensor’s real format limits, with ISO, focus, white balance, exposure offset, and focus peaking close at hand. You also get interval shooting for timelapses and hands-free captures, exposure bracketing for tricky light, and a simple in-app gallery for reviewing, sharing, and deleting recent shots. Calotype is made by a photographer, for the moments when you want the phone to feel a little more like a camera.

Find a color mood you love, make it your own, and share it with calotype. Explore 150+ free official filters inspired by film, vintage digital cameras, Y2K, and everyday moods. Try a filter in the live camera or on a photo from your library, then compare the result with the original. In Try It, a creator’s preview image is for preview only. Save results from your own imported photos or camera captures. No sample photo appears before you choose a photo. The camera takes processed JPEG still photos and applies the selected filter to the captured photo. Shape your photos with light and color adjustments, HSL, tone curves, color grading, texture, and special effects. Sign in to save your settings as a preset. Add drawings, text, or imported stickers. Register your own preview images to save a public preset. Once the server saves a valid public preset, others can discover and use it. Follow creators, save favorite filters, and exchange likes and comments. Continue without signing in to browse bundled filters, use the camera, adjust effects on your own photos, and save photo results to Photos. Guests can bookmark up to 10 official or other creators' public filters on this device. Guest bookmarks are not automatically merged with or uploaded to an account library. Sign in with Apple or Google to save your own presets, use account backup and cloud synchronization across devices, publish presets, and use community features. The standard free account library has 10 base entries shared by your own presets and bookmarked filters. If your account library is full, you can still save a public preset to your profile, then add it to your library after freeing a slot. Editing an existing preset keeps the same slot. Basic photo exports have a maximum long edge of 2,048 pixels. The free version includes banner and native ads. Saving photos does not require watching a rewarded ad. calotype pro is a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription. During an active subscription, enjoy ad removal, unlimited preset storage, private cloud presets, supported higher-resolution photo saving, automatic saving to Photos, face and skin adjustments, makeup, and digital lens effects. Output resolution depends on the source photo, device, camera, format, and crop; small photos are not enlarged. When Pro expires, saved filters are not automatically removed. If your account library exceeds the free limit, review all saved entries and choose up to 10 to keep, plus any previously earned bonus slots, then explicitly confirm. Only unselected library entries are unsaved; your original presets, community posts and photos already saved to Photos remain. Unsaved bookmarks are not automatically restored if you subscribe again. Face adjustments and makeup use temporary on-device analysis with separate consent. Face landmarks and analysis results are not sent to our server. Preview images, profile photos, and stickers that you choose to register are stored with your account. Report inappropriate presets or comments, block creators, and contact support inside the app. Your subscription price and billing period are shown before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Manage or cancel in Apple Account settings and restore purchases in calotype settings. Deleting your calotype account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Terms of Use (Apple Standard EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
