CoParent makes splitting kids' expenses simple, fair and documented, even if you're the only parent using the app. Snap a photo of a receipt and the AI reads the store, date, total and items, then fills in the expense. You check it and save. No more shoeboxes of receipts or photos texted back and forth. YOUR DASHBOARD ANSWERS ONE QUESTION Who owes who, and how much? One number that updates as soon as either of you adds an expense or confirms a payment. SOLO MODE: START ON YOUR OWN, INVITE LATER Log expenses, scan receipts and keep your calendar on your own. Nothing is sent to your coparent until you invite them. If they join later, they see the full history. RECORDS NEITHER PARENT CAN CHANGE Every expense, approval, dispute and message is timestamped. Once it is saved, neither you nor your coparent can edit or delete it. PDF REPORTS FOR YOUR ATTORNEY OR MEDIATOR With CoParent Plus, export a PDF of your expenses, approvals, disputes and payments for the dates you pick, with the full audit trail. CUSTOM SPLIT RATIOS Your order says 60/40 on medical and 70/30 on activities? With CoParent Plus, set the split per child and per category, and each new expense follows it. ONE PRICE, BOTH PARENTS One subscription covers your whole household. CoParent Plus is $6.99 a month or $49.99 a year. New subscribers get the first week free. APPROVALS Add an expense and your coparent approves it or disputes it with a reason. Both stay on the record. MESSAGES With CoParent Plus, message your coparent in the app. Every message is timestamped and cannot be edited or deleted. SETTLE UP Record payments made by Venmo, Zelle or cash. Once your coparent confirms a payment, the balance updates for both of you. FREE PLAN Start free with 50 expenses and 5 AI scans a month. Upgrade when you're ready. Built by a founder who knows the problem firsthand. No private equity, no ads. Just a clean tool that does one job well. Your custody record, organized. CustodyBook is a one-sided log for separated parents: custody days, exchanges, shared expenses and notes — dated, factual, and exportable as a clean monthly PDF you can print or share with your lawyer. Court-ready PDFs: every entry dated, with edit history and a SHA-256 fingerprint you can verify at getcustodybook.com/verify. The judge decides what is admitted. Not legal advice. MESSAGES FROM A CHAT Turn a screen recording of a chat into a readable list in your log — you review who said what before saving. It is read on your phone; nothing is uploaded. Messages appear in your timeline and in your monthly and date-range PDF reports. WHY ONE-SIDED MATTERS The big co-parenting platforms charge $100-300 per parent per year and require both parents to join. Your RECORD doesn't need their account: it needs dates, facts and math. • Copy the month summary as plain text — ready for WhatsApp or your lawyer. • Custody days and exchanges logged in seconds. • Expenses in exact cents with a configurable split — the app tells you who owes whom, to the penny. • Monthly PDF report in a neutral, factual tone your lawyer will appreciate. • No chat with the other parent, no accounts, no server: we never receive a copy of your entries, and there is nothing to pay monthly. WHEN THE OTHER PARENT OWES YOU FOR EXTRAS • Mark the date you asked the other parent for their share of a medical bill, school fee or activity. The monthly report shows every unreimbursed extra, how much, and how long it has been waiting. • Add the time and place of each exchange or custody day - folded away, so a normal entry still takes seconds. • The app warns you when entries are not backed up yet, so a lost or broken phone doesn't have to mean a lost record. NEW IN 1.8 • Log each exchange as on time, late or no-show — for either parent — and see the monthly counts and minutes late in Reports. • See the nights with each parent, with percentages, counted from the days you have logged. • Create a PDF for any date range: a one-page summary for both parents first, then every entry in date order. • A gentle backup reminder on Today, plus "Contact us" in Settings for questions and ideas. TRY IT FREE, THEN PAY ONCE Unlimited entries, summaries and reports. Use everything free for 7 days, then a single one-time purchase keeps it yours for life — no ads, no login, no subscription, no monthly fee. CustodyBook records information you enter; it does not provide legal advice.
