About

Estudio de Piano

Features

Piano exercises by Hanon, Czerny, Burgmüller and Chopin with a score that listens to you. Connect your MIDI keyboard or play your acoustic piano into the microphone: the app corrects you note by note and tells you what to practice next. Estudio de Piano is your piano technique notebook and practice tracker: the classic public-domain exercises, scales, arpeggios and études, with guided practice that tells you what to do next. CONNECT YOUR PIANO • MIDI keyboard over USB or Bluetooth: every note with its exact timing. The app switches to MIDI as soon as you connect it. • Acoustic piano? Use the microphone. On-device polyphonic analysis recognizes what you play, chords included, with automatic gain for soft pianos. • Every key you play lights up on the on-screen keyboard. GUIDED PRACTICE IN THREE LEVELS • Learn: the score waits on every note until you play it right. • Practice: in tempo, repeating the passage that slips. • Perform: a full take, graded, with medals. • Suggested tempos for every level and every exercise, with where each one comes from. • Fingering on every note: the composer's where it exists, a suggested one otherwise. • Measure ranges with repeats, to listen and to practice. IT CORRECTS YOU AS YOU PLAY • The score is colored live: correct, early or late, wrong note or missed. • It follows your place even if you repeat or skip a measure. AND EXPLAINS THE TAKE • Score from 0 to 100, note accuracy, rhythmic accuracy, tempo stability and dynamic evenness. • A heat map by measure and the next passage worth going over. PRACTICE WITH A METHOD • Precise metronome with count-in and progressive tempo: it only speeds up when you play cleanly. • Transposition to all 12 keys, hands separately and measure loops. • Progress, daily streak and best clean tempo per exercise and key. THE REPERTOIRE Hanon's The Virtuoso Pianist (all three parts, with scales and arpeggios in every key), Schmitt, Pischna, Brahms, Czerny (Op. 299 and 740), Burgmüller (Op. 100 and 109), Clementi, Bertini, Heller, Chopin (Op. 10 and 25), Liszt and Moszkowski. Every work is in the public domain and transcribed into our own format; each exercise shows its source. Pieces still being verified or transcribed are marked. STAY CONSISTENT • A practice reminder at the time you choose, and none if you have already practiced. • A Home Screen widget with your streak, and your session on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. • Share your take as an image with your teacher or friends, with a link to practice the same exercise. FIND IT FASTER • Exercises show up in Spotlight search, and Siri and Shortcuts can open or practice one. • Links on our website open the exercise straight in the app. FREE, WITH DISCREET ADS The whole repertoire, the guided practice and the reports are free. The free version shows discreet ads that never appear while you practice, listen to an exercise or have the microphone open. Estudio de Piano Pro, a one-time purchase, removes them for good. Pro unlocks no content: it only removes ads. PRIVATE, NO ACCOUNTS No sign-up, no accounts. Microphone audio is analyzed on your device and is never recorded or sent anywhere; your progress also stays on your device. In English, español, português, français, Deutsch and italiano.
