Train every muscle, at the gym or at home. See each one on a body figure. Log every set with last time's numbers already filled in. Only the sets you tick count. Your own AI writes your plan. Connect ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini once. Make it yours with coral or lime, four app icons and widgets. GC (short for Gym Commitment) is a gym log your own AI can send plans to. It asks about your week and your gym, writes the plan, and the plan lands on your phone, ready to follow set by set. AT A GLANCE • Your workout full screen, one exercise at a time, with the rest timer • A plan from your own AI, showing what it did with each of your notes • Your last 7 days on Home, and 7 or 14 days on Progress • Every workout in full: each exercise, your sets and the muscles you worked YOUR AI, YOUR PLAN • Connect your own assistant once, with a code from the app • It asks one thing at a time before it writes the plan • The plan lands on your phone. Look it over, keep it and follow it • Change it in one sentence, like "make Thursday shorter". The new version lands in the same place • Ask your AI about your plan, like why an exercise is in it • Once connected, leave your AI a note on any exercise, like "No machine here". It goes with your next change • When you choose, share your last 12 weeks. Your AI writes a report with three changes for your plan • The AI tab can show one next step, so you know what to ask You connect your own ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. Only the finished plan or report comes back to your phone. Some assistants need a paid plan or are limited by country. Rather not use an AI? Everything below works without one. IN THE GYM • Your sets open with last time's numbers, so you know what to beat • Tick a set and the rest timer starts, in the app and on your lock screen • The weight column says if it is one dumbbell, or bar and plates together • Warm up, drop and failure sets. Supersets open the next exercise when you tick a set • Machine taken? Swap the exercise. Or skip it today and keep it in your plan • Exercises show as pictures. Tap one to add it, or switch to a list • No routine? Tap Start and add exercises as you go • A new best gets a trophy on the set that beat it • Gym Time reminders on the days you pick ON YOUR LOCK SCREEN AND WRIST • A lock screen widget shows today's workout and your week • While you train, the Live Activity shows your exercise, your set and your rest. Add a photo from it during your workout • With your iPhone nearby, start, tick sets, change weight, reps and time, and finish from your Apple Watch ROUTINES, YOUR WAY • Ready-made routines for every situation: full body, upper lower, push pull legs, dumbbells only, machines only, home with no kit, 30 minutes, over 40 • Build your own, day by day, exercise by exercise • A friend or trainer builds one and sends you a link • Set a weekly goal. It counts from this week WHAT YOU SEE AFTER • Sets by muscle on a body figure, for any routine and for your week so far • Every lift on a graph, with personal records • Weekly, monthly and yearly reports that show the body parts you skipped • Progress photos kept with the session they came from. You can switch Photos off in Settings YOUR DATA • No account needed • Log every set with no signal. Form clips and your AI need a connection • Export every session and set as a CSV, whenever you want • In English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German and French, following your phone or your pick in Settings WHAT PRO ADDS • More plans, changes and reports from your AI • Every earlier week, month and year • Every lift's progress back to day one • Every photo and every routine • Deeper insights with Advanced Mode • Backup to your own iCloud Questions or ideas: gymcommitmentapp@gmail.com Privacy: https://gymcommitment.com/privacy Terms: https://gymcommitment.com/terms ChatGPT is a trademark of OpenAI, Claude of Anthropic, and Gemini of Google. One number every morning: how recovered you are, from 0 to 100. Push reads the night your watch already recorded and works the whole thing out on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded. Every feature is free. WHY ONE NUMBER Most apps hand you a wall of charts and leave the reading to you. Push does the reading. Overnight heart rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep, breathing rate and blood oxygen go in, all of it read from the Health app, none of it measured by Push itself, and one score with one word comes out: Reset, Ease In, Steady or Primed, plus a line or two on why. Then it shows its working. Open the score and you get every signal that moved it, which way it went, and how many points it was worth. Nothing is a black box. COMPARED TO YOU, NOT TO A POPULATION Every signal is judged against your own rolling 14-night baseline, never against an average of strangers. A 40 ms HRV night is an ordinary night for one person and a poor one for another, and only your own history knows which. Push waits seven nights before showing a first score, because a baseline built from three nights produces a confident-looking number that means nothing. If a signal is missing, your watch has no blood oxygen sensor, or a sensor simply did not fire, its weight is shared out across the signals you do have. It is never counted as a zero. THE DAY, NOT JUST THE MORNING Your morning score is a ceiling. As you train, Push works out the load from your workouts with the published Bannister TRIMP formula and eases the score down, measured against your own ordinary day, so a rest day costs you nothing at all. WHAT ELSE IS IN THERE • Sleep: duration, efficiency, stages and timing, each against your own nights, with an optional sleep goal of your own • Strain: today's training load, and how it sits against your normal • Stress: a day curve derived from heart rate and HRV. A wellness signal, not a measurement • Biological Age: an estimate from cardio fitness, heart rate, sleep and walking speed. An estimate, never a clinical result • Vitals: thirty-odd further metrics from the Health app, charted and explained • Calendar: every scored day drawn as its own arc, and this week against last • Coach: ask questions about your own data. It runs on your device; nothing is sent anywhere • Watch app and complication: the score on your wrist • Two optional daily reminders, both off until you turn them on THE WHOLE METHOD IS IN THE APP Under You › How It Works, Push publishes the entire method: every input, every weight, the baseline window, the seven-night rule, the anchoring, both Bannister coefficients and the Tanaka maximum-heart-rate constants. Those screens are generated from the code itself, so they cannot drift from what the app actually does. PRIVACY There is no networking code in Push at all. No account, no sign-in, no server, no analytics, no advertising identifier, no third-party libraries of any kind. Your health data is read from the Health app, used on your iPhone, and stays there. Push never writes anything back into the Health app, and nothing is stored in iCloud. FREE, WITH ONE HONEST EXCEPTION Every feature is free. No subscription, no trial, no ads, nothing locked. There is an optional tip jar if you'd like to support development. A tip unlocks nothing, and Push works identically without one. No account either. Push never asks who you are. WHAT YOU NEED An iPhone running iOS 18 or later, and an Apple Watch Series 4 or later worn overnight with sleep tracking on. Turning on Sleep Focus also lets the watch record wrist temperature, which Push shows from your first night. Push is a general wellness feature, not a substitute for professional medical judgment, and does not account for existing conditions or medications. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Push at none against GC's shown. Push also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). GC's advantage is ratings volume (28 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. GC sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Push sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for GC against 5.0 for Push. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GC has 28 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
GC ships an update every 3 days, Push every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
