ByteFit is a food diary with Bite, a cute green buddy who cheers every meal you log. Snap your food, pick a photo from your library or describe your meal — AI estimates calories, protein, fat and carbs and breaks the dish down into ingredients. Check the ingredients, adjust the portion and save it to your diary. AT RESTAURANTS AND STORES • Snap a restaurant menu or a delivery cart screenshot: Bite counts the macros for every dish and suggests what fits the rest of your day. • Point the camera at a barcode: nutrition comes straight from the package, you just pick the portion. BITE IS THE HEART OF BYTEFIT • Every meal you log feeds Bite: he catches the treat, chews and shows how your day has changed. • His mood reflects your day — hungry, content, full or stuffed — with no guilt and no judgement. • A fullness scale, calories left and macros at a glance. • “Bite suggests” — recipes that fit the rest of your day, from your own food and your coach chats. • Once a day Bite asks how you feel — the answer stays on your device. • Your friendship grows with the days you log, and missed days are never punished. ALSO IN BYTEFIT • AI coach: talk about your eating, ask for a recipe or set calorie and macro goals. • A diary with food photos and totals for every meal. • My food: saved dishes and recipes — no new photo or retyping needed. • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and a “Cooking” Live Activity with a timer. • Gentle reminders and Calm mode, which hides the numbers. • Progress and statistics by day, week and month. Daily rhythm: steps, water and sleep next to your food. ByteFit shows steps and sleep from Apple Health, and you log water in one tap on Home, in the widget or right from a reminder. Water and sleep you log can be saved to Apple Health too. AI suggests water, steps and sleep targets together with your calories and macros, based on your answers, or you set your own. Your Apple Health data stays on your device: it is never sent to AI or to our server and is never used for ads. Without Apple Health, water and sleep still work by hand, and you can hide any tracker you don't need. Your first successful AI food analysis is free, with no account or subscription required. You can check the result, make manual changes and save it for free; the subscription offer comes later, on Home. Further food analyses, AI refinements and the AI coach require ByteFit Pro. Manual food entries, your diary, saved meals, recipes and statistics remain free, and previously saved data stays accessible after a subscription ends. Diary entries are stored on your device. AI requests are processed by our service; the privacy policy explains this processing and temporary response recovery. ByteFit Pro offers monthly and yearly subscriptions. If you have never subscribed, Bite gives you a gift after your first logged meal: ByteFit Pro at 40% off. The offer lasts an hour, is then extended to the end of the day, and the gift price also applies to renewals. Eligible customers can start an Apple three-day free trial. The App Store confirmation shows your local price and billing period. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your Apple subscription settings. Restore purchases from the subscription screen. AI nutrition estimates may be inaccurate. Check ingredients, quantities and nutrition values before saving. ByteFit is not a medical service. Verdict
ByteFit and LiftCore are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. ByteFit sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and LiftCore sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
