RIP DJ vs SampleHook

RIP DJ is a spectrogram tool for DJs. Drop in any track — MP3, FLAC, WAV, AAC, M4A, OGG, Opus — and RIP DJ analyzes its full spectrum on your device. A live spectrogram and waveform appear while the track plays, and a full-track spectrogram renders once the scan completes. Share the spectrogram image with track metadata to any app. The FFT runs entirely on your phone. No uploads, no accounts, no analytics. Files you analyze never leave the device. The app makes no network requests at all. https://www.ripdj.com/privacy https://www.ripdj.com/terms

A pocket vocal sample lab for beatmakers. Hum, sing, or rap a rough idea. Pick a genre, a voice, a mood. SampleHook turns your guide into a polished AI vocal sample, ready to drop into your MPC, Maschine, or DAW. WHAT MAKES IT BUILT FOR PRODUCERS • Hum a melody, get a topline. The AI keeps your words and tightens the singing. • Rapped, sung, or ad-lib — pick the delivery that fits your beat. • Solo lead by default. Toggle Doubled or full Harmony stacks for depth. • Automatic key and BPM detection. Override with wheel pickers if the detector misses. • Trim handles, loop region, scrubbing playhead. Chop a 1-bar sample out of a 30-second take. • Pitch shift ±6 semitones and tempo 0.8x–1.2x on playback, no destructive edits. • Native iOS audio routing through USB-C, Bluetooth, or AirPlay — sample directly into your MPC. THE WORKFLOW 1. Tap record. Hum, sing, or rap 1–4 bars. 2. Pick a Genre (Hip-hop, R&B, Trap, Drill, Afrobeats, Gospel, Soul, House, Lo-fi), a Voice (Male tenor, Female alto, Male falsetto, Female falsetto, Choir, Baritone), and a Mood. 3. Review your transcribed lyrics. Edit any mis-heard words. 4. Wait ~90 seconds while SampleHook generates and isolates a clean vocal stem. 5. Drop the WAV into your beat. Whether you're cooking a Trap topline, an R&B hook, or a Drill verse, SampleHook gives you a usable sketch in under two minutes. No browsing sample packs. No booking session vocalists. Just your idea and a clean stem to chop.
