Qindil, the lantern. A Muslim app that is completely free, ad-free, account-free, and keeps your data where it belongs: on your phone. PRAYER TIMES, COMPUTED ON YOUR PHONE The five daily prayers are calculated directly on your iPhone, from a location captured once: it never leaves your device. Seven calculation methods (Muslim World League, Umm al-Qura, ISNA and more), Asr school of your choice, fine per-prayer adjustments. The adhan rings on time, even with the app closed, with a widget and a Live Activity on your Lock Screen. THE WHOLE QURAN The complete Uthmani text, translation, and three ways to read: verse by verse, page by page like the mushaf, or one verse centered full screen. The recitation follows your reading word by word, the recited verse lights up, and everything can be downloaded for offline listening. Resume exactly where you left off, daily reading goal, khatma tracked page by page. DHIKR, WITH SOURCES Morning and evening routines from Fortress of the Muslim (Hisn al-Muslim), every supplication with its reference. A classic tasbih, the 99 names of Allah after Tirmidhi's collection, and duas for every moment of life. A LIGHT, EVERY DAY A verse, a hadith or a reminder chosen for your day, in Arabic and in your language. The Hijri calendar with recommended fasts, precise qibla, a Ramadan mode with iftar and suhoor times, and a discreet, thoughtful excused mode for women. Everything stays on the device. YOUR DATA IS NOT A PRODUCT Qindil has no server. No account, no ads, no trackers, no usage analytics. The only outgoing connection is downloading Quran audio, if you choose to listen. This is verifiable, and written plainly in our privacy policy. ARABIC, ALWAYS Every prayer, every notification, every screen carries Arabic alongside your language. The Quranic text is the verified Tanzil text, displayed in the King Fahd Complex Uthmani script. Qindil is free and will stay free. If it lights up your days, you can support its development in one tap, from Settings. Nothing is ever locked.
