Every drive, recorded. Trip Rank turns your iPhone into a driving log, trip distance recorder and digital speedometer - no external hardware, no OBD dongle, no extra fees. Start a drive when you set off and Trip Rank tracks your route, distance, speed and cornering forces, then saves the whole run to your history. DRIVING LOG Every drive you record is saved with its date, distance, duration, average speed and top speed. Each trip carries its own distance reading, so you can see exactly how far a single journey went, and browse your full driving history at any time. DIGITAL SPEEDOMETER A large, readable GPS speedometer showing current speed, average speed and top speed. It reads your device's GPS, so it works in any vehicle - car, van, motorbike or bike. Choose MPH or KM/H and the whole app follows, from the live dashboard to your trip history and your share cards. ROUTE MAP Every recorded drive is drawn on an interactive map so you can see the exact route you took. Your GPS routes stay on your device. DUAL G-FORCE METERS Peak and sustained cornering and braking loads are sampled continuously through the drive and stored alongside the trip. Useful on a track, interesting everywhere else. MY GARAGE Set your driver name, add your vehicle's make and model, and choose the accent color your dashboard uses. GLOBAL LEADERBOARD Opt in to compare your best top speed and peak G against drivers worldwide. Your exact GPS routes are never uploaded - only the two numbers you choose to share. SHARE CARDS Generate a summary card for any drive and send it to Messages, Instagram or your camera roll. TRIP RANK PRO Trip Rank Pro unlocks the timing modes and the full share card studio: - Speed Zone: drop geofenced start and finish points for precise point-to-point timing. The timer stays at zero until you cross the start line, giving true rally-stage accuracy. - Speed Trap: capture your exact speed at a point you choose on the map. - Pro share cards: full-height cards built on your own background photo, with filters and your trip's route. Speed Zone and Speed Trap timing are intended for closed courses and track days. Always obey local traffic laws and speed limits, and never operate your phone while driving. GPS readings depend on satellite signal quality and are not a substitute for your vehicle's own instruments. Continuous background GPS use can significantly reduce battery life. Turn every drive into data — and unlike most apps, all of it is yours from the start. Drivers who pay attention to how their car moves understand that a single figure like top speed tells almost nothing on its own. Meaningful performance data requires context: the route, the forces, the events, the timeline. TripRank captures all of it simultaneously on every drive, stores it in full detail, and makes it available without a subscription gate standing between you and what your own phone recorded. The result is an app that works as a serious performance tool from the first drive, and the feature at the centre of that experience is real-time G-force measurement built around a live radar display. EVERY METRIC THAT MATTERS TripRank records top speed, average speed, distance, and duration alongside G-force on both axes — peak and sustained — braking and cornering event counts with severity, elevation profile, moving versus stopped time, and a bump and pothole counter derived from vertical IMU data. After every trip a full report is generated automatically: a GPS route map with a speed heatmap overlay, a scrubbable speed-over-time timeline, Drive Score, Smoothness Score, and any personal records set during that drive. Share cards for Instagram, iMessage, and the standard share sheet are produced without any extra steps. WHAT MAKES TRIPRANK DIFFERENT → Free users see the complete detail of every trip they record — no stats locked behind a paywall, no pressure to upgrade to access data you created → The G-Force Radar renders lateral and longitudinal forces as a live 2D plot at 50Hz, giving you a real-time picture of how the car is loaded through every corner and braking zone → Drive Score and Smoothness Score assess each trip as a composite, so performance is measured beyond raw speed alone → Weekly challenges and ghost-lap mode let you race against time-limited targets and your own recorded best without manufactured urgency or streak mechanics → Sprint timers auto-start on throttle input and cover 0-100 km/h, 0-200 km/h, 0-300 km/h, 60-120 km/h, eighth mile, and quarter mile with trap speed → Pro is offered once, with honest pricing and no spin wheels, countdown timers, or dark patterns of any kind SPRINT TIMERS Sprint Timer Mode removes everything from the interface except the test you have selected and the number that matters. The app listens for throttle input and starts the timer automatically, so your hands stay on the wheel and your eyes stay on the road. Results are compared against your personal record for that run type and placed on the sprint-specific leaderboard the moment the test completes. There is something quietly satisfying about having a precise record of a drive — not a filtered version of it, not a summary produced by someone else's algorithm, but the actual numbers from the actual road. Over time those records accumulate into something more than data. They become a history of how you drove, where you went, and what the car was capable of on a particular day. TripRank is built to preserve that record with accuracy and give it back to you without conditions. SUBSCRIPTION TripRank Pro is available as a weekly, monthly, annual, or lifetime purchase. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time by going to your Apple ID Account Settings in the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited upon purchase of a subscription.
