Right now, the Sydney Opera House is greeting the morning. Right now, the Eiffel Tower in Paris is basking in noon light. Right now, the Statue of Liberty is drifting into dusk. Yonder Clock isn't a world clock. It's a window — showing you the world behind the time zones. Open the app, and you'll see a landmark somewhere on Earth in its real time of day: an Apple Maps 3D aerial view, slowly rotating. Every 15 minutes, the scene changes to another place experiencing morning, noon, or dusk. You don't have to do anything. Just watch. The world flows on its own. --- 500+ landmarks worldwide --- Across 35 cities — from the Sydney Opera House to the Sagrada Família, from the Golden Gate Bridge to Mount Fuji. Each landmark has a hand-tuned 3D aerial camera angle, crafted for that one perfect view. --- See it, collect it --- Every new landmark you see is automatically added to your collection. No effort required — just keep watching, and your world map fills in over time. Switch to the globe view to see how many cities you've "visited." --- Home screen widget --- Put the world on your home screen. The widget cycles through landmarks every 15 minutes, even if you don't open the app for a week. Morning somewhere, dusk somewhere else — a glance is all it takes. --- PRO --- • Unlimited shuffle — change landmarks whenever you want • Widget syncs with the app in real time • Freely browse all uncollected landmarks • Full access to 600+ landmarks in 3D Before you put your phone down, take one look. RetroCalendar

See time as motion. RetroCalendar is a visual calendar built around two simple ideas: A YEAR IS ONE ORBIT A DAY IS ONE ROTATION YEAR See the whole year as one orbit around the Sun. The twelve months form a circular calendar around the Sun, while the Earth moves through the year according to its astronomical orbital phase. The month markers follow the Earth’s orbital position at the beginning of each month, while the Earth shows its position at the current moment. The illuminated side of the Earth faces the Sun, making the relationship between the calendar year and the Earth’s orbit visible at a glance. The current month, day of year, date, and time update continuously. EARTH Tap the Earth to see the current day through the changing sunlight across the planet. RetroCalendar keeps the standard meridian associated with your current time zone facing you while the real day-and-night boundary moves across the Earth. The Earth view is calculated from the current date, time, and time zone. Daylight saving time does not shift the geographic center of the globe. No GPS or location permission is required. LOCAL CALCULATION RetroCalendar performs its calendar, orbital, Earth-orientation, and sunlight calculations on your device. The Earth land data is stored inside the app. No account is required. No advertising. No analytics or tracking. No subscription. No in-app purchases. No account-based cloud service. RetroCalendar is designed for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
